First, welcome to the boards. I was at WDW this past weekend. There was a flyer in our room regarding booking free dining for next year. The dates that the offer was good for are August 23-Oct.2, 2009. The flyer goes on to say that you must book before you check out of your resort, which must be on of before Oct. 20 of this year. So, you should be good to go. If there is not a flyer in your room, ask at your resort concierge desk.

the flyer we had said the promotion ran until the 8th of oct.

Do you mean that resort guests can only take advantage of this promotion up until October 8th 2008 OR do you mean that resort guests who book the promotion can use it for room stays from August 23 2009 - October 8th 2009? I really hope that you mean the later. I was in a real panic when I read your reply at first (we will arrive at WDW on October 16th and I am really hoping that the promotion will still be going).

Read the flyer that San Francisco posted the scan of. That is exactly what was in our room.

It says the free dining offer is available August 23-October 1. Then on the bottom, it says "Ask about other packages for stays October 2-8." So I do not think bounceback free dining is extending past Oct. 1. (for 2009) It also says on the flier, which I already stated somewhere on this thread, that resort guests who are at WDW up until October 24 of this year can book it for next year, as long as they book before they check out.

the flyer say you need to book before Oct.24. I did not recieve a flyer in my room but still called and used the code and I was able to get the bounce back promo.

We received the same offer when we arrivied in our Beach Club room Sept 16th. The flyer is customized for the resort you are staying, IE ours said yacht and Beach club instead of AK.

I cheated a little :lookaroun

I heard about the great offer from this site and reserved an AK Club Level before leaving through Disney. I wanted AK Club this time but the free dining was offered 90 days before the trip, so all was booked. So when I arrived I called and modified the package to include free dining. Then when got home transferred the trip to Kingdom Konsulants so Eliz can handle the rest :sohappy:

We returned yesterday from a week stay. We called the number provided and received a quote for the same plan as this year (2 rooms CBR, 5 adults total). The quote was $1400 higher than what we paid this year. I questioned the person on the phone and he was a little rude and said that was the prices for 2009. Since they are unable to give you a breakdown I was not able to see what was causing it to be so much higher. We did not book it and will take a chance with our travel agent (small world) finding us a discount for our trip next October.

That is very, very odd. We booked our bounceback at the Coronado and I figured it out and it was around $125 more total than it was this year (and part of the reason for that is that we booked a King room; we were upgraded to a suite this year and we got spoiled by the King bed...although we may still change that as CSR has put in queens in all of the rooms that aren't kings).

My sister and Mom wanted me to call the next day and try a different CM but it was the end of our trip and I was tired. I make all of the reservations for our families trips to Disney and the mountains (our other happy place). I am used to figuring out the cost of our trips and who owes what. The quote this CM gave me floored me cause I know it could not cost that much more. I should have called back but I am an optimist and I'm sure we will find a good plan for next year ever if it is room only. This was the first time we had the dining plan and to be honest we found it to be too much food. We came home with unused counter service and sit down service credits. I did use all of the snacks by buying mickey mouse rice crispie treats for my granddaughter.

We used the bounce back and it was the same price as this year give or take a dollar or 2. This time with bounce back we got the family suite ( which was not available) . I am excited to start another count down and I just got home :)

We booked and are arriving on the last day of the bounceback so that we can overlap with F&W. As long as you check in by Oct 1st, you get free dining the entire time you're there.

We booked 9 nights at POP.

I normally do that but it is way to close to the opening of hockey season to stay past the 3rd of October!

We booked again, too!!! Sept 23rd-29th (I think)...this time at POP.

Blackthidot...maybe I'll see you again. I think I saw you...or someone that looked like you at POTC. We were coming off the ride, you (possibly) were waiting to get on and wearing a #7 away jersey and I yelled "Go Steelers!"
