For those who have trouble spelling...

I just found a great extension for Firefox. It adds an option when you right click a textbox or textarea to SpellCheck it using a localised dictionary (hence, I have en-uk installed)

It works magically, and saves you the faff of spell checking in another program. You can get it from: http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/install.html#header

And if you aren't using Firefox, then frankly, you're missing out.

Also note, the easy forum code extension (it automatically adds quote tags around text on the clipboard for instance)

Me: How do you spell...........

My mom: Look it up in the dictionary.

How do you do that if you can't spell it?

Now I use that line on my kids.

It's totally 100% free... no adverts... no nothing.

More screen-estate

TBH, Opera and Firefox have very similar features (although I think Opera is an "all-in-to-start-with" browser, whereas Firefox comes in small and nippy, and then you add to it with whatever extensions you want/need [I find the Web Developer Toolbar Extension amazingly useful, see screenie]), you should try both and see which one you like better.

Personally, I like a small, slick, browser with a few extensions and Firefox forfills those needs perfectly.
