Trip Report First time staying at the Boardwalk

Hi All!! One week from today, we will be flying the friendly skies from Pittsburgh to Orlando!! I am so excited!! Like, most of you, I am obsessed with all things Disney!

First the cast,


Hunter, 12, myself, Deighton, timeless, Brinley, 21 months, Camden 5, and Den, also timeless!! This picture was taken last October.

So, as I previously stated, we are leaving May 31 at 7am and getting into Orlando at 11 am. We will take the ME to the Boardwalk. This will not only be our first time staying at the Boardwalk but it will also be our first time in a one bedroom villa. Wahoo, a room to ourselves without our stinky, mange, poachers, I mean, sons. Oops!

I am going to try,yet again, to do a livish report. I, usually, start strong and fail, bitterly, at the end. Here goes another try!! One week to go and all systems go!!!

See I knew we could be friends. You like margaritas (you encourage drinking 2 at the same time) and you get a beer flight with dinner at Tiffins! Although, you are braver than me and go on Kali River Rapids. I wouldn't mind the ride, I just don't like the getting wet/drenched part!

How many more days are you there?

We leave friday Next time I am wearing a poncho!

We are waiting in line to meet Chewbacca now. TOT and Rock n Roll Completed! Den is at Hollywood and Vine with the kids!

Well I had my picture taken with Hunter and my boyfriend!!

Den was with Cam and Brin at breakfast at Hollywood and Vine. Hunter was not interested. He started texting me an hour in that he had still not seen any characters. He talked to a manager and scored a fast pass for 5. I showed up half an hour later and poor Cam had only seen Jake from the Neverland pirates. Den was at the end of his rope so I took over

I really didn't say much besides I hated being disappointed in Disney. Then they came back for another fast pass for 5 on a yellow piece of paper.

Here are a few other pictures of today. We did Star Tours, Buzz, and Muppets 3D. HS was crowded!!! It started to... wait for it...Rain around 1 and we came back to give Brin a nap. The boys are all swimming with the clown, now.

Tonight was another chill afternoon and night. We swam for hours and really had a great time!

After pool time, we went back out on the BW
Ended up eating at the Trattoria al Forno again. Another good meal. Just not as great as last night. Still great service and ambiance for the kids. Cam was selected again by a different performer to spin plates. At this point, he is quite good at it. Lol!

Tomorrow is busy, busy! MK in the morning and Epcot in the evening! Possible fly by to Disney Springs to cash in my chase visa points. Does anyone know, if I can do this anywhere besides Disney Springs?

We have fast passes at 1045 at SDMS. Believe it or not, it will be a first for us!!

We are really loving the BW!! The walk to Epcot and HS is a dream!! 3 more full days!!!

What do you mean cash in chase visa points? A Disney visa? Getting points on a card or just shopping? If you are looking to get your points on a card, I believe guest relations can help you out at the parks. Hubby once forgot to do it before we left home and he went to City Hall at Disneyland and they helped him get a card. I don't remember all that was involved because I didn't go in with him and it was back in 2013.

I am glad to hear you are having a great time in spite of the rain
We stayed at YC so I totally appreciate your love of the BW and the short walks to Epcot and DHS

Late to the party but I'm enjoying your report!

As I scrolled past this I was super confused. I thought it was just a plate of chopped green onions.

Ooooo I wonder if that soup is there all year? I love potato leek...might have to go try it

I believe it has been on the menu a while! Super worth it!!

We had it on our Disneymoon in February 2015 so it must have been there since at least then!

Great morning at MK!! We woke up and saw the weather report! No sleeping in again! Rope drop! We had most of the big rides done so we started with Buzz. The kids love Buzz but I really dont like the laser beam version.

These little guys were actually waiting outside Buzz. The staff was pretty worried. They were safely removed by the time we exited!

After Buzz, we ended up on the people mover.

And then over to Circus land. Cam and I road Dumbo.

The kids then got soaked while I was in the bathroom with Brin. Grr!! I should have known better. We always have a change of clothes for them but not today. However, I will say, they dried quickly.

Next was the motor speedway. After was fast passes for 7DMS. These fast passes actually worked! Unfortunately, the ride broke down twice while I was on it. I did however think it was super cute.

Next, we ran into this crew at 1130.

I have never been so close to this show!! Love it!! Tears as soon as I saw Olaf

MK was very busy and it was very humid...again! Luckily we had Liberty Tree reservations at 1230. It was delicious and efficient! We were sat a little early and out around 1 when we jetted out of the parks bc of the ominous clouds!

Heading to Disney Springs for a little shopping and then off to Sanaa for 730. It is suppose to be another rainy night.

Den. had the assortment of 3 meats. Lamb, pork, and sausage.

And I had the spicy druhban shrimp with aloo masala!

We were stuffed! We slowly crept to the exit to uber home.

The trouble maker above still had loads of energy so we decided to walk off dinner at the Boardwalk and view the fireworks. Too cloudy to see much. Oh well, they enjoyed Ample Hills!

Tomorrow is a day of Epcot! Rope drop again!
