You can always grab a quick bite at your food court and then be ready to eat at 3 pm. If you can, I suggest making that 3 pm ressie a bit later so you won't be hungry again at 7 pm. Good move switching to DHS. Who wants to spend that much time in transit. That is the reason that we don't do a hopper...saves us time. But we get the water option. You can hop with that. (water and a park)

Good luck. Show your GF the maps...and let her tell you where to go. Get lots of photopass pictures and take pics with lots of characters. She will def. remember this trip with you.:)

Thats a pretty good idea with letting her "drive the car" however I dont think Ill give her a map just let her eyes take her wherever. Well probably end up in that dead end behind toon town! lol

How should I get to MK from DHS?
If you wanted to wow her I would take a bus to the GF and monorail it or take the boat to MK. It might take a little longer but she might get a kick out of the GF. I would also try and get to MK when it starts to get dark. You know as well as I do that the castle looks so much nicer at night. Good luck.:)

She knows of the Grand Floridian because I alreadytold her thats where we are staying when I make "Driver Money" at UPS.

I did want to monorail it to MK though so I guess catch a bus to the Poly from DHS being we can hop the Monorail there and have a longer ride around the lake?

:D Most important relax, enjoy your time together! You have 10 days to take in all the magic  The best thing about WDW are all the little things that add up to those moments you remember :sohappy:

Okay so I got 7.5 freaking days to go! I am going insane waiting.

My girl and I get there Thursday the 18th, my brother and his "date" Tara, get there Friday the 19th.

Here is my question for YOU people. Many of you who have talked a bit with me know my GF's story but Ill give you a run down real quick.

She went to WDW with her HS Band 4 years ago. She litterally did NOTHING. She remembers TOT and thats all.

Naturally I wanna make her nuts over this place. I know it will happen because she is super excited, she buys a new scrap book everyday.

We are going to MK the first day because its the only day for just her and I. She IS really excited to see POTC, and HM because of all the collectables I have esp HM stuff.

My question is what in all of MK should I show her first? It could be anything there. Im thinking POTC, then bolt to HM, Philhar, COP, and then do Splash. I know that is spread out but I want her to see my favs in the order where shed prob like them the best.

We have reservations for TS at Sci Fi that day at 3pm. Our flight lands at 9am so Im HOPING to be at MK around 12-1pm.

Im a fan of Pecos Bills for CS, anyone have a better idea?

Side note she has no idea what Philhar, or COP is and I know she will LOVE the scents inside Philhar.

Thanks in advance for the help. Im kind of rambling cause Im going insane here "waiting" I just need to discuss something!

Well it's certainly shaping up to be a busy day. I'd deffinately get over and POTC, Splash, then HM. this way she can walk down MS USA and get that "feeling." POTC has been SWAMPED since the refurb (stay to the right, it'll be quicker). HM is gonna be busy too, but that was refurbed as well, but the line moves pretty quick. Plus, when you're in line you can start pointing out the little things that disney does. i'd probably get FPs for Splash and maybe do Its a Small World. That is a Disney classic and can't be missed on a first-timer's list.

Have fun.:sohappy:

Last Sept when we were there right when HM opened we didnt wait more than 5 minutes to go on it. In fact I think the longest I waited to get on anything WAS Small World it was like 30 minutes. Even HTH was walk on.

Hey, that first night get her over to the Adventures Club! It will be easier for the two of you to move around and check things out, and she will love it. So sad it's closing after this month!

Also, the Tower of Terror is so good, my wife who does not even like free fall rides thought it was the absolute best!

So I think I got this all together here...

Get on the bus to DHS...try and get a earlier walk in to Sci Fi. If not hit up Star Tours, Muppets, possible Great Movie Ride, and if there is time TOT.

After we eat and the latest that would be is 4, IF we cant get in earlier. Hop a bus to the transportation center and get on the boat to MK.

Once we get in go to the top of the train station and and present WDW to her! :king:

Then say well lets just walk and Ill follow you!

What I recommend doing is getting FP's for Space,Splash and Thunder Mountain (if you like those rides) otherwise you can't get anything later and then do what you want to do. COP is very slow moving and if you like to learn new things then you like COP. And there is a catchy song also. And POTC and HM have been updated if you didn't know.
For Epcot get FPs for Soarin. Otherwise that will run out and you would have to wait 90 minutes and that is not fun :(. Get FP for Test Track. And after that you can do whatever you want.
For DHS get FP for RNRC, and TOT first thing. Maybe Star Tours but that is not bad.
For AK get FP for EE first and Kilimanjaro Safari.

These are my tips you don't have to follow them.

You should also try to get your FP for Toy Story Mania. They may still be available when you get there.
