First look at the 3D Model

Where's the water in Pixie Hollow!? I was hoping for a light show like at DL! And I think those caves in the back are for the meet'n'greets. And Pooh's meet'n'greet is there, across from the Pooh ride and behind Aurora's cottage.

If we get an attraction,it blows the light show out if the water! ( no pun intended).

There's always wiggle room.

I'm wondering that myself. First, the model looks great. And I agree with the person who said it needs to be on display somewhere.. like a blue sky cellar-type exhibit. Maybe at this year's D23 expo?

going back to pixie hollow - It looked different in the concept art. http://progresscityusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/D23_PixieHollow.jpg Was this concept axed?

That concept art seems to be very early. I would probably go by the model shown, but as you can see, even the model is not finished. Half of PH isn't done, as well as the Train Station and Barnstormer.

And I still don't see the Pooh M&G. Was that axed?

I also noticed the Dumbo spinners seem to lose the curvy, whimsical details on it,and become a simpler more "fairlike" version. More like the original.

Personally, I don't think Playful Spot will go anywhere, and Pooh will continue to do M&G there.

I would contribute that to the unfinished nature of the model.

right. it's also important to note that even models won't show the finished product. we've had several models shown for DCA's expansion, and the end result is similar but still with very noticeable changes.

Poohs Playfult Spot is going, as Cinderella is in its place. Take a look at the blueprint overlay on Google Earth.

I'd love for it to be Alice. I think that would work.

Why does everyone keep saying that?! It was never mentioned!

Watch, that'll be it.

HA! See Evan I said I wasn't the only one who thought Alice! I mean plus those BA flowers...they scream Alice!:D

Could you image, though!? A RETURN of Toad to WDW? Jeez.
Amazingly awesome is what it would be if it happend!

In Walt Disney World's MAGIC KINGDOM!
Where would you suggest putting it?

Thanks for posting this Jt, I just got home to see this thread (solid avatar as well, reminds me I'll need to upload my Red Sox one here in another month).

And I agree there doesn't appear to be a change to the Barnstormer. But changes in theme are not too difficult to accomplish and will probably be saved for the final stages, IMO.

Thanks again for posting this.:sohappy:

Exprcoofto posted it.

But thanks for the Avatar praise. I'm still breathing heavy sighs of relief.

Anyone notice the support structure on the Barnstormer? It looks awfully similar to a wooden rollercoaster. I'm thinking that it HAS been rethemed, we just expected far more.

If that is a ride and I'm seeing the ride vehicles as similar to Tow Mater's, then something will be pulling you along the track. Possibly the firefly from Pixie Hollow?

Well, circus coaster usually have wooden support. So that's most likely it.
