I heard Soul, Inside Out and Muppets were considered within the last ten years (obviously Soul is more recent). Phineas & Ferb were considered for a Lil something also.
This right?

I think it would be a win/win to give Figment & Dreamfinder the attraction space while creating an experience for another IP in the Magic Eye. My vote is a live show featuring Beaker & Dr. Honeydew, but anything would be better than shorts I can watch at home.I actually think Muppet Labs, Inside Out or Phineas could fit quite well in here. Obviously not removing Figment or Dreamfinder. I prefer the rumor of just figment and Dreamfinder but I think the IP’s I just listed would actually fit well here.
Yeah like I said I prefer figment and dream finder over any option but all those IP’s work under “imagination”. They can never evict Figment from EPCOT though that would be a disaster he’s also way too popular for that to make sense.I think it would be a win/win to give Figment & Dreamfinder the attraction space while creating an experience for another IP in the Magic Eye. Yeah, by the time I started talking to sources that concept art was flying around. It's real but yall probably knew that.View attachment 779686

After the Tiana experience, I don't know that he'd come back. Its just crazy to me, that Disney doesn't let Tony Baxter fix Imagination. He'd do it in a heartbeat, the man has a knack for building amazing attractions, his record speaks for itself.
They massacred his baby, lol I'd be pis*ed too. But I think if they gave him a budget he could work with, he'd want Figment to be presented and introduced in a good attraction, to a new generation who doesn't remember or know about the original ride. After the Tiana experience, I don't know that he'd come back.
The thing about this concept art that amazes me is that they were intending on having a a face character of the female computer engineer from SSE..View attachment 779686

Wasn't this basically just "Let's put the headquarters for the Perry game in the old Camera shop"? And then people thought it was something more substantial?View attachment 779686

I thought it was like, the old Figzilla meeting place? Granted I forget where that was but I swear it was nearby.Wasn't this basically just "Let's put the headquarters for the Perry game in the old Camera shop"? And then people thought it was something more substantial?
Yeah, that's what the Figzilla space originally was, a camera shop.I thought it was like, the old Figzilla meeting place? Granted I forget where that was but I swear it was nearby.
That's fair, but I think his involvement with TBA was always just window dressing. He was just a "creative advisor" on a project that would completely rework his vision. After the Tiana experience, I don't know that he'd come back.
In that room, the energy made you able to tell that everyone thought they were announcing it, but everyone knew they weren’t.That's fair, but I think his involvement with TBA was always just window dressing. He was just a "creative advisor" on a project that would completely rework his vision.
Figment's ride has already been reworked twice, so it's not his original vision. Redoing that is likely a huge plus from where the attraction is now. Plus he's said on record he would come out of retirement to redo it. Last year at Destination D23 he was present and it almost seemed like an Imagination announcement was being teed up and pulled at the last minute. All we ended up getting was notice of a meet and greet.
Figment is Baxter’s baby. He 100% would come back if given full control and whatever money he wants to get it done. He’s old, it would be a perfect last hurrah encore attraction. After the Tiana experience, I don't know that he'd come back.
Has there been any real smoke on this being possible? Backing down would mean that was a realistic and workable plan. The only way Baxter comes back is if Disney backs down on "current ride with dreamfinder shoved in".
For when I was getting information (2021/22), that was the main thing they were bean counting on and wanted to 'explore further'.Has there been any real smoke on this being possible? Backing down would mean that was a realistic and workable plan.
