Bold prediction: A D23 *teaser* announcement of a Dreamfinder revamp. Kinda like the initial Splash announcement….a “it’s coming, but we have this one generic picture to show”.

My gut could totally be wrong, but I have a feeling this might just be the year. What else do they have to announce for this park of genuine substance? Not much.

2 options here....

1) a teaser video..A pan from the monorail passing by as it slowly passes by the pavillion. A kid walks by and picks up Dreamfinder's hat only to see a arm come from off right stage with hand open and with that the kid just smiles and fades to black...with the tagline..." An old friend is returning!".......

2) just a teaser poster. A side view of a purple tux and a Eviction notice in hand for the Imagination Institute..Tagine "Time to save a Friend"

I thought Pete Docter's rejecting the "Inside Out takeover of the Imagination pavilion" idea put the kibosh on it. I guess Chapek just doesn't care what Pete thinks.
Obviously Chapek has more juice than Pete Docter in the company, but there is nothing to suggest and IO takeover at this point other than people making loose connections based on speculation about Inside Out 2. There's no there there

Wouldn't Inside Out be better in Play!?
I get Inside Out takes place within the mind, but I always felt it dealt more with the interplay of emotions than how the imagination lends itself to the creative process. I get the two are linked and to some degree intertwined, but I don’t think that’s how the original Imagination pavilion was envisioned.

Of course, most of Imagineering’s latest creations appear to be emotional overreactions to controversies real and fictional, so maybe it fits now

I never understood the fan-made idea to conjoin Figment/Inside Out into one attraction. I don't see them doing that whatsoever. That being said, I could absolutely see the Emotions taking over the Magic Eye Theatre.

Upper management knows Figment is a cash-cow. This new Epcot overhaul has put quite a focus on him. I would be floored if he is given the boot. Imho, it's only a matter of time till he gets the overhaul.

Edit: Zach Riddley's entire outfit today is Figment themed......
