Has anyone heard rumblings of a possible new CD release soon? They really need to do something! Today at a MK register I saw both the Wishes CD (acceptable) and the Event Party CD (NOT acceptable)! That's just embarrassing IMO! as is that CD in general! Enchanted Adventures Parade and Magic, Music and Mayhem no longer exist!

It's been said many times before that there probably won't be a CD, merchandising just doesn't see the demand for it. However, I think it's acceptable that the Event Party CD still exists because it also has the Hallowishes, Boo to You, and Dream Along With Mickey soundtracks on it, shows that all still exist. Also people love to be to purchase things for shows, attractions, etc, that have closed so I don't see the problem.

Well Im not saying they shouldn't be selling the Event Party CD at all, just not right next to the Wishes CD on a check out register! And I fail to see how there can not be a demand for a updated entertainment CD.. Merchandising is crazy! I can guarantee they would sell more CDs with FOF, MSEP, Celebrate The Magic, etc than the Event Party CD!

Back on topic, Im guessing FOF is proving to be a challenge for maintenance.. Today the Peter Pan float was not "Rocking". Last week I saw smoke coming from the back of Maleficent which I had not noticed before, but didn't see it today. Didn't notice "Extra Fire" although it was windy...

That ship is constantly having issues. Probably has something to do with the weight of it on the swinging mechanism. Could be worse, I saw a recent video of the parade where the Peter Pan ship and anchor weren't swinging, none of the Brave elements were moving/spinning, including the bears, and Maleficent was in static mode with her head down. :hungover: It was quite embarrassing to watch. Makes me wonder if FoF wasn't meant to handle 2 performances a day. Either that or maintenance needs to get it together.

The DL Fantasmic! soundtrack has included the Main Street Electrical Parade ever since the CD was first released, despite the parade being discontinued there in 1996. Even when the parade ran at DCA, the CD was only available in DL. I'm also pretty sure you can buy a CD in Epcot that includes Tapestry of Dreams, in addition to Illuminations

As long as there's still music that plays on a regular basis (especially if that's the 'headliner' of the CD), I see no reason to discontinue the sales. As it is, they're probably just burning through the existing stock, not making additional discs to sell to new tourists

Are they still planning on adding Frozen music to the Princess Garden loop? If so shouldn't they add music from Princess and The Frog as well? Except Im not sure how they will do this without changing the whole loop and making it longer?

Honestly, where I was standing in the hub last week, the music already wasn't very well synced. I wouldn't mind a change of the loop in order to make sure everything's in sync properly.

Also are they done with having two performances now? :( Yea I know it was just for the busy Easter week.. but it sure was nice being able to see it twice in a day! One performance is just Not enough! This parade definitely leaves you wanting more!! :)

Thought I'd post this vid that was taken yesterday. I love this one. The cast who were performing the charcters are doing a really wonderful job. Usually in parades the cast gets bored after a while and just do it. But these are giving it 100%. Grumpys grumpy. Flyn is laid back. Mad hatter is mad. I feel like cadct didn't help as the choreography was simple and not that lively. These cast members are brilliant though and should be praised for doing it in the hot florida weather. Have a look at yesterdays:

Speaking of hot weather, in summer when the heat is really hot, would they have a chorography that's toned down so they don't get sweaty and really hot. I know the costumes fabric helps but id think it make sense.

Not saying it justifies poor or bored performers but CADCT was pretty butchered. I can't imagine they were thrilled with it by the end. It was very a tired parade. This one is much more lively and exciting. The cast seems really thrilled performing Festival of Fantasy.

I actually just watched this before reading your post! I had the same exact thoughts, the cast really does an amazing job at keeping the energy up during the parade. It's why I have watched it over 100 times and still can't get enough, lol. Minor quip, Tick-Tock has been looking like he needs some major TLC as of late. Probably wasn't made for regular use, since he only made seasonal parade appearances prior to FoF.

If they do they cant change the time. It's all very exact. They would have to get it right by the millisecond. Steve has said they might but if they cant they cant. It won't be the end of the world. They've already delivered on one of the promises-dragon now breathes more fire! So if they've done that likely that they'll give it a go at least.

I doubt they'll tone down the choreography. It's harder and more complex than past parades but it has enough "breaks" in it for the performers that they aren't literally dancing the whole time. The choreography has a good mix of harder stuff and simpler things that look good but give the performer a little rest here and there.

The increase in fire on the dragon is very welcome, tho there is still a large gap of no flames during the FoF theme bit. And I see the plague of non-movement has spread to the finale float, though the other floats looked like they were working properly.

But agree with everyone, hats off the the cast. They do seem to be enjoying the new parade. And I especially like how even the performers carrying the closing banner have a bit of choreography. Its a small detail, but it helps to carry the energy right thru to the end of the parade.
