So did Disney really record FOF during one of the nighttime rehearsal? If so was it strictly for training purposes? which doesn't make much sense why they would want to train future cast with a nighttime video of the parade
Disney records everything for a variety of purposes - archival, promotional, etc. Video isn't used to train new performers - the choreography is documented and taught to new performers by maintenance choreographers and show directors who are brought in to maintain the show's integrity over time.

LOL...swing thugs!
I saw the parade last month & am amazed the "thugs" powered those on their own-they look pretty heavy. Besides Maleficent breathing fire, the Tangled float was a favorite. The kiddos on the front row squealed every time they swung to our side.

Just saw it for the first time today. Everything was looking good (from what I could tell), except NONE of the animatronics on Under the Sea were working. Sebastian looked like he was diving drunk.
Also one of the swinging ruffians was down with blood coming from his nose. I've been told it wasn't an accident, but just a simple random nose bleed.

Was nice being able to see FOF Twice today!! Both performances were packed!! BUT it sure would be more enjoyable watching if it were at a more comfortable time of day.. Not in the scorching heat and sun!!
Btw has any of you heard if the Easter pre parade this will be any differant than last year? Anything new?

The Parade will be altered for Easter! The Princess Garden Float will have Disney Bunnies on instead of the Royal Couples. Belle and Beast are replaced by Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny. Cinderella and Prince Charming are replaced by Brer Rabbit. Tiana and Naveen are replaced by the White Rabbit and Anna and Elsa are replace by Thumper and Miss Bunny. As Well, Mickey and His Friends will have Easter Outfits and Roger Rabbit will be replacing Pinocchio! LOL I Wish!

(Lucky Jack and the soundtrack are the only redeeming features of that train wreck. Well, okay, the goat was pretty awesome, too.)

That would be cool! i'd keep the Royal Couples in the parade but would have put them on another fkoat in the shape of,oh ,idk maybe a mirrored Castle?

No not that Dreaded Float! I have a Strange Feeling that they will not do anything like a Pre-Parade this year. Like Tokyo Disneyland got their Happiness is Here Parade Last Year and they had no Easter Parade. Do wish Disney would do something, even if was just some Meet and Greets in the parks.
