Festival of Fantasy Parade coming to Magic Kingdom in 2014

The increase in fire on the dragon is very welcome, tho there is still a large gap of no flames during the FoF theme bit. And I see the plague of non-movement has spread to the finale float, though the other floats looked like they were working properly.

But agree with everyone, hats off the the cast. They do seem to be enjoying the new parade. And I especially like how even the performers carrying the closing banner have a bit of choreography. Its a small detail, but it helps to carry the energy right thru to the end of the parade.
If you're referring to the Mickey & Minnie float, there has never been any movement in that float. It's an odd choice, given that every float before it has a kinetic element to it. I would have liked to see the balloon rotate, but it's no big deal.

No, I was referring to the Pinocchio/Donald and Daisy/Pluto/circusy float, the one before the Mickey/Minnie balloon. Should have all kinds of motion on it and there was nothing.

I think that was the first time they've not worked. Weird because I saw a vid from the same day where everything was working earlier in the parade route. Maybe something was hit? a sensor? I don't know. Matinence has been good though. They seem to fix things as quickly as possible ready for the show tomorrow if something's not working.

Agreed, thus far they seem to quickly get a handle on anything that goes wrong. Hopefully it continues.

Yep, that video's just from the small press video Disney posted a few weeks back. At this time, a CD is not being looked into, but some music may be in circulation...

I'm sure it's been stated, but when the parade first debuted, there were clear 'gaps' between some units and it seems like things could have been cut, especially from the Mermaid section (which seems bare compared to other sections) as well as obviously not having floats or mini floats for Snow and Alice characters. Does anyone know? Were things like spinning fish and the teacups with the tweedles just rumors, or were they actually cut? Not that it really matters now but it felt like things were almost deliberately missing.
