I'm probably a minority here, but the Laugh Floor has become one of my favorite attractions at The Magic Kingdom. And although I can KINDA see the futuristic element (Come on, how is the idea of harnessing laughter for energy NOT futuristic?) I do think it would've fit better in DHS. But enough of that, what was your personal favorite moment in the Laugh Floor. Mine would have to be when we went in '07 on Halloween. Someone in the audience was dressed as Stewie from Family Guy and the monster came in humming the Super Mario Bros. theme 'cause he thought he was dressed as Mario. Then when he figured out who he was, he proceeded to make Stewie impersonations. As Larry the Cable Guy once put it, "I don't care where you're from. That's funny right there."

Guess trying to talk about an attraction that isn't "a classic" is a bit of a lost cause here :brick:

Yes.:D

It's not THAT bad of a show IMHO, but it just doesn't fit in TL. Put it in DHS....They needed it more!

And Tmekeeper was a classic.:(

MGM dosen't "need" squat anymore, athankyou.

And don't give me the "Timekeeper" excuse, I'm the freakin' uber-quoter of Timekeeper.

Travis...It has two E tics, one fancy D tic, a now no longer nightly nighttime show. It's newest draw is AI. It's classics are getting REALLY old. It's going the way of the EPCOT Center.:( I love MGM as much as anyone else, but it definitely needs something big. Maybe we are getting it, who knows.

No you're not. I love the Laugh Floor. My favorite is when Mac and Cheese do the geography bit. I won't spoil it for anyone by quoting it, but those of us who like it probably know what I'm speaking of :animwink: I still come out laughing at the same stuff. One of these day's I wanna be "that" guy. C'mon everybody, I'm buying churros :slurp:

Yay, I'm not alone :D and I haven't seen that one yet.

Heh Heh, sorry ^^; I've just noticed that every time I bring up any new attraction I like *with the exception of perhaps Everest* Everyone else seems to hate it  Usually because it replaced something old that they liked which I can totally understand but if this board has done anything to me, it's made me real sick of the word "Classic"

In Dec. 2007 we had the pleasure of seeing two young men escorted out after the show was done. They were sitting behind someone who was up on the screen for everyone to see, and they flipped the bird live on the screen. The security people taking them away were not happy at all. That was a moment I remember from this attraction.

Last May when my hubby and I went on our anniversary trip sans the kiddos we went to a Pirate & Princess Party ((thankfully we had the chance to do this again since they've all been cancelled for this year )). During the party we wanted to do the Laugh Floor again since we both really like the chuckles. So when we went in the show had just started so we had to wait all the way inside by the doors. As we stood there waiting there was a nice family behind us with 2 little boys around 6 & 8 years old. THe kids were asking us if we'd done this attraction before so we started to tell them how funny the show was, etc. The dad leans over to us and asks if there's a prime location inside to get the best view/experience. Hubby and I look at each other, smile, and tell the guy, "Yeah! You really really want to get in one of the middle rows towards the center aisle right on the aisle if you can. It's the BEST from there." Dad was very appreciative. We chatted awhile and then it was time to go inside. Because it was a Pirate & Princess Party it wasn't at all crowded so sitting where you wanted to was not a big deal. The family found a great seat right where we told them to get. They caught our eye just before the show started and waived. Then the lights went down and the fun ensued. The dad became "That Guy"! He was such a good sport and played along which we were certain he would after chatting with them in the pre-show area. THe kids were just roaring with laughter and having the best time. It was so fun to watch them take it all in. After the show they ran over to us and thanked us for the awesome tip. THey asked did we know that was where to sit to get selected. We weren't 100% sure but it seemed from past experiences that was a good location which is why we told them to go there. They were so happy and thanked us. We were relieved that didn't go the opposite direction and Dad wanted to punch our lights out or something. LOL!

In case you can't tell, I love the Laugh Floor! :sohappy: I never get tired of the FIRST TWO ACTS.

What about Sam 'n' Ella? ;)

To answer the OP's original question...
My favorite moments are
1. When my husband was THAT GUY :ROFLOL:
2. Buddy's alternate personality (I've only seen it twice.)
3. Buddy's butt phone.

And now for some juxtapositional humor...

In Feb '08 we took a girls trip down (My mom, sister and myself). On our last day there my dad joined us for the day at MK. He is not much of a Disney fan but looked forward to spending a fun day with his wife and daughters. Right at the end of the night I told them that we HAVE to go into the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. My dad enjoys corny jokes and as he said "the Monsters Inc. movie was pretty good". I had told them nothing of this attraction beforehand. I had previously been on this in 2007 with my husband on our Honeymoon.

When we were seated and the show began. Well my dad was picked to be "That guy". I started laughing so hard because I knew what awaited him. After being on the screen for the 3rd time he turned to me and said "If I'm on that screen one more time you are walking home!" I laughed again and enjoyed my father being put up on the screen numerous times. Of course he was just joking about making me walk (as I was 5 months pregnant at the time).

It's a great attraction which is one of my Must Do's while at MK
