I've only been to a couple bars in WDW (hoping to try the ones at BW, YC, BC, & La Cava del Tequila this fall), but the frozen sangria at Paradiso 37 is right up there with the Grand Marnier slush if you ask me.

Tune-In Lounge had a fun atmosphere and the bartender was great!!

i'm suprised at not seeing much Jellyrolls on here.

Anecdotal, but while the entertainment remains top notch, the lousy service and ridiculous-even-for-Disney prices have turned me and quite a few of my friends off from JRs over the last couple years. Also, it's not really promoted much around property, and remains a pain to get to or get home from for most guests/locals.

My top picks:

  • Main Salon, Adventurers Club (sorry, had to be done)
  • Top of the World Lounge (view cannot be beat, great "chill" vibe, amazing service)
  • Scat Cats Lounge, POFQ (feels like a "real" bar, and can't beat Elliot Dyson's live music)
  • Tune-In Lounge (cheesy, but the over-the-top decor and people watching makes it fun; can't ever recall getting bad service here, either, even tho it's always slammed)
As for off-property:

  • Finnegan's, Universal Studios (the best theme park bar in Orlando)
  • TGI Fridays--West 192 or Crossroads (both have outstanding bartenders)
  • Lone Palm Airport, CityWalk (on a beautiful day, like yesterday, nothing beat sitting outside with a margarita)

Mixed drinks are $6-$6.50...beer is $5. That seems pretty in-line not only for Disney but any entertainment venue.

I do agree with the place not being promoted much adds to it. And I do with that they had afterhours bus transportation from the various resorts to the Boardwalk Area.

My favorites aren't really "bars", but I like the Wine cellars in France, Italy and Germany. They are nice places to stand around and have a few drinks out of the sun.

I liked that little bar kind of across from the restrooms and the Backlot Tour at the Studios, if it's still there. Real friendly bartenders and would get everybody chatting about their day at the park.

1. Tambu - Poly (grab a back scratcher and let your worries melt away)
2. The Wave - Contemporary (awesome screw cap wine list)
3. Raglan Road - live entertainment with no cover charge and no rush

Those are my personal faves.

i'm extremely biased since i basically grew up on a stool at this one, but i love the gurgling suitcase at OKW. any former members remember russ and emilio? two of the greatest bartenders who were once on propertly.

We like so many about equally,

Trout Pass Pool bar at the wilderness lodge (Sterwart and Carrie Rock)
Crews Cup Lounge at YC (Sheila is the best)
Tambu Lounge (thanks to them I have a back scratcher in every room)
Bellvue lounge is just too comfy.

the list could go on but I don't want to give the wrong immpression :D
