Love the comments its getting

"Hey Lisa Ray, maybe your kids will grow up to be self-aggrandizing media hounds like yourself. How do I know about you again? Oh yeah, because you didn't just quietly decide to shield your family from the aspects of culture you didn't want to participate in like a normal parent, you had to start a blog about it. And send out press releases. And give interviews.

I think I'll boycott Lisa Ray for a year ... and blog about it. It'll be tough on the kids and the wife won't like it much but it just might be my ticket to fame. This will be my first post - you can read all about it at www.blogspot.getoveryourself.com"

Not old, just vintage.
Wow. What weird article. I think I am missing the point of this entire exercise. I understand the desire to limit commercial influence in ones life, but I don't know how pretending Disney doesn't exist for 365 days will accomplish that. The fact that this woman is making such a public ordeal out of it kind of negates the entire experiment anyways.

We don't want her there anyway!!!!

I think I would have to go in like a program for DA - Disney addicts , yeah that would never ever happen..Not in our house...And I like how she "Thinks" her husband will listen to sports radio and not watch ESPN.....!! Good luck with that whole Project lady!

Well does this make me a Bad Grande Father that my grandson Jack who is turning three knows about Mickey Mouse and watches Disney Cartoons and movies like the Brave Little Toaster, Dinosaur, Fox & the hound and has clothing with Mickey and pluto on it. Laslty should I feel ashamed that the DWF and I will be taking him to WDW when he turns 5 for his first trip ever. I felt this was a right of passage and where fun and imagination begins. I never knew that Buzz Light Year that I had gotten him along with Woody and Rex was a branding issue that I did not tealize and was totaly oblivious too. I feel like I am letting my little man Down.
Now on the other side this person must have had and still has a boring life. I remember watching the Magical Wolrd of Disney and always wanting to go and see it. When I finally was taken to see WDW in Fla when I was a little boy and I fell in love with it. I am now 47 and still feel and always will feel this is the most magical place on earth. I really don't understand this person and her issue.
