Quick and Random 12/19 EPCOT Update...

For the most part, it was the usual pre-Christmas crowds at WDW. Major attractions had to use the lengthier queues but it was not busy enough to say everything had a line. I would imagine by Wednesday it would be more insane....

2009 is slowly disappearing in more ways than thought, as the 2010 merch was already up for purchase.

The LED Tip Board was down for most of Saturday after it was being worked on Saturday morning...

Here's that LoW replacement with the lonely present. I just think it's all 'meh' but it's better than nothing else there. Still wonder why the removal of the snowflakes and dove. Was that obsolete as well?:

The Los Tres Reyes Magos had their manger rather bare. Thank the Mexico food stand from F&WF usurping its original spot, but it does have a equally nice backdrop ;):

The Candlelight Processional was great as usual, and Whoopi did a fine job as the night's narrator. I thoroughly enjoyed it. :D

And that is all from Saturday! I leave you with the Peace on Earth fireworks tag from the Journey lot:

Were the said pyro cuts REALLY noticeable? From the parking lot, it barely was.

Speaking of tip boards, whatever happened to the screens that were hanging from the Innoventions breezeways?

If I hadn't read about them, I would have NEVER known. Going to have a full write up tomorrow.

While we may never get those Roman ruins or the much-needed dark ride, it looks like we will be getting a second restaurant in Italy. Shockingly, when you consider how popular Italian cuisine is, there’s never been a quick-service facility in the pavilion. There’s also never been a place to get that most Italian of foods, pizza. Pizza, and especially good pizza, is strangely difficult to come by in Walt Disney World.
Why not combine the two/three together? :lookaroun

I can say, while using the trailer restrooms next to american adventure their was a construction fence with the green mesh as well as hard hats going around the back half of itally, and I could see 2 diggers moving ground.

It is a welcoming concept, esp since there is no quick service in italy!

They should do the gondola ride, but one of the scenes should contain the actual pizzeria.

I'm wondering is a smaller scale Dark Ride will come with this. Is anyone actually looking at the size of that plot? It's like 3 times the size of a normal restaurant and is over half the size of my entire property. If not a ride, then they are defiantly building with the future in mind.
