Eyes on EPCOT Center

Well they need a better system for controlling/distributing them then. Because honestly...it's getting ridiculous.

They just need minishow buildings just for stroller parking. I can't even imagine how the new Fantasyland will be with all the strollers. Last time I was in the Land pavilion the strollers in the front were a jumbled mess.

There's no way. I know there were not as many strollers when I was there as a kid.

I don't think there were either. My Mom said they carried me at the age of 3 all over MK and they didn't use a stroller. Doesn't it seem like these days people carry so much more crap than the old days? I look at my old 70's pics and no one has backpacks and strollers loaded with crap.:dazzle:

Ah but I digress. The last time I had an anti-stroller/children remark I got a little :fork: from a gal on here. *ducks*

The only solution would be people making their children walk. Can't imagine that happening in today's society.

It is somewhat understandable for the younger crowd or even if the kids are just too tired, but I agree.

People are far too lazy nowadays.

Fortunately, the last few times I have visited The Land, strollers were to be parked at the convenient stroller parking area near Nemo.

Remember, that spacious lot deliberately built for that specific purpose?

Heppy day. :D

Yes, please, please use that. It would at least get them away from the entrance.

Why couldn't they just not allow people to bring in a stroller? If someone wants one that bad they should have to rent one

Most ARE rented. Doing the reverse of this, and making people bring their own might be better, seeing people don't want to lug it around.

I guess that would work but it is a service that has always been offered

I really don't want to get into the stroller debate, but I would like to understand your stereotype on today's "society". Because as an active parent (marathoner and Ironman triathlete - so is my better half), I promote an extremely active and healthy lifestyle, but embrace strollers as an often better alternative to trying to convince a child under (we'll roughly estimate here) the age of 3 to stay on task, move forward, keep from being distracted, or tiring easily/quickly.

There's always exceptions to generalizations. You seem to be one of them, and I know I applaud you. :sohappy:

All one has to do is look at pictures of the parks from ten to twenty years ago and realize that strollers were not as abundant as they are now. Heck, you never saw scooters either.
