What on God's green earth is an ISP address? Is that, like, AOL's headquarters in Virginia or something? :)
ISP for dummies: no jk, i screw it up sometimes...... but in the simpliest possible explaination, an ISP is an Internet Service Provider (earthlink, aol, juno)

An IP address is a set of 4 number combination that act as an "address" for your computer.... possibly like a telephone number is to a phone (ei: 60:199:245:10) you can either have it change everytime you log on or you can have a permanent one. for a novice it gets tricky

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.

Eh...it's ok...I guess...

I sort of preferred the logo they used temporarily that I had for an avatar, the footprint that looks like an E.

Guess I better hang on to my shirt with that logo...

Eh.... I did not like that one.

This one is more gooder. :D

I don't know why, but the first thing that comes to mind when I see this logo is that it looks like a bad logo for a lesser known sports team, like something from the XFL, Arena Football, or CFL.

Tulane Green Wave logo from years ago.:hammer:

I personally think that the official logo for it is nice... but the thing I like most about it is how they made the smaller e's look like the "eyes" of the yeti. It may take some getting used to, though...

Thanks. I was being facetious, but the explanation was kind. :) Y'all had been typing ISP address when you meant IP address.

I work in online marketing and know a thing or two about IP targeting. It's not an exact science by any means.

Well, Alpengeist certainly isn't bad lineage to come from ;)

Well, Alpengeist is from Matterhorn, so it's Disney taking back it's own idea. The interesting note that when Busch noted the success of Alpengeist, they applied it to their African themed park (Tampa) in the form of Montu. Prior to Montu, BGT (Busch Gardens Tampa) only had Kumba and wasn't really considered much of a threat by Disney. The park's capacity is only around 30k. Since the addition of Montu (and an entire themed area dedicated to it) BGT has grown to include a nice list of "name" attractions (those recognized easily by the general public) including not only Kumba and Montu, but now also Gwazi and Sheikra (opened this year).

What's this got to do with Disney? Most of here agree that AK was the child of the reactionary nature of Michael Eisner. BGT even already had stylized africa - so AK was forced to nitty-gritty-realistic.

So, Everest's history probably does involve Alpengeist and Busch as competition overall.

Interesting note: The company who did the theming for the Egypt area of BGT also contracts for Disney.
