How is that supposed to make it better? I'm an AP too and he's contacted me regarding things I've posted and discussed potential legal action that could be taken if I don't edit/delete a post. David Brady is in charge of Media Relations for WDW and has contacted several posters here before via email regarding things they've posted from WDWNews and other sources. I should know, I'm one of them.

He does have to power to make your Disney experience a nightmare.

Possibly by AP he meant "Associated Press?" I though an AP at first, but he left out the "an" suggesting the other.

But which AP are we discussing here? Annual Passholder, or Associated Press?

my vote is Associated Press. that is the way i read it.

rob: curious, say David Brady does contact a member about a post or information that he/she has shared and that person is under an identity that sheds no personal information, how would he file suit (worst case senario) against someone if all he has is the user name. Is the sites owner/moderator (ei: Steve) brought in the mix for legal reasons.

Im just curious, I was recently contacted by Patagonia telling me i had 10 business days to get some work i did in college off my portfolio site. i did.... but come on, it was for school projects, and besides, it is a free plug since the artwork was being shown. oh well.

And you are correct.

I wish I was still an annual passholder. Just got back from a trip on the 4th. This year I couldn't get a straight answer out of the annual pass prices for room only from the phones so I ended up buying the "Magic Your Way" hopper. I guess if your annual lapses, you are SOL to try and find out if annuals would get you a cheaper price on a room and ultimately save you $$$ on the vacation. (because you have to own a valid annual in order to login to the website ... which is the only place the keep the rates now). In the past, an annual would get you 59$ prices at value resorts, so it was worth it to buy those of park hoppers because in the end, even though the passes were more, the room was less and ultimately less out of pocket.

it looks very Busch Gardens-ish to me. That being said, I don't mind it all that much. It's not the best, but it could be much worse.

That was exactly my thought. Busch Gardens.

He called me on my cellphone and emailed me on my personal email. He either got an administrator to release my IP information and had my ISP give my details away, or they just did a damn good search.

On another note ... I was out at your site and noticed that you had pictures of the Beach Boys at Epcot this past week. There last day was the first day I was there. Was the concert any good ... or did they sound sort of dated?

slightly scary huh? i thought my incident was a joke from a friend of mine.... then came the certified letter.

that is why i kind of laugh at people that are so scared to give any small details about themselves in their bio section..... if someone really wanted your info they can get it. but i understand and appreciate the privacy thing as well (if that really exsists or if it is an illusion)

First the fiddling about passwords to gain access to the CM Portal... and now this...

Some people that never seem to catch on...

They did sound good, albeit some of their jokes were dated.. lol. They sounded great, almost to the point which I wondered if they were running tape.

being a computer geek, i can tell you that it is not that difficult to find out who you are from your isp address. the guy next door was using my wireless internet before i had all the security set up and i was able to find his address, telephone number, and name by tracing him. luckily the average person does not know how to do these things, but florida state university has trained me well.

That logo has been around for months. It was used during the May 7th event "Its Not A Ride... Its a Story." I created my old avatar with the picture below. Animal_king1990 now uses my old avatar.

OOOOH how do you do it?? I can do it on my school network but is that different from a internet connection i think. I did it through the command prompt. So how can u get his phone number, address and name just from an ISP address??

WOW sorry thread drift...

Other than that the logo is OK...but a bit too busch gardeney for me to buy the T-Shirt. I expected something old looking and very Himayalan (sp?) like the mountain and surrounding areas. Its alright though. Can you imagine someone at AK say ing "I could never get on a ride with that logo! HARUMPF"

I think the whimsical design of the logo creates the impression of mystery and unknown. Therefore this logo is appropriate to the ride and to the "fantasy" aspect of AK.
