The interesting note that when Busch noted the success of Alpengeist, they applied it to their African themed park (Tampa) in the form of Montu.

Well....except that Montu opened a year before Alpengeist, sure.

I remember one of our more informed members here having that for an avatar for awhile.

I used to have it for awhile, but I don't think I'm that well informed myself...

As for the logo, it's pretty sweet. I can't wait to get a shirt!

I don't know why, but the first thing that comes to mind when I see this logo is that it looks like a bad logo for a lesser known sports team, like something from the XFL, Arena Football, or CFL.

I agree. Looks like it should be on the back of a hockey jersey. :lookaroun

as you can see from my toying around the everest logo isnt bad, they are just using that god awful teal which makes it look like a sports team/busch gardens rip off...personally it reminds me of an energy drink. If the colors were more like this it would be more acceptable.

Because the teal is like an icey-looking color. It fits the color of the real Everest and what the inside tunnels look like on the ride.
