The first iteration of Illuminations debuted in 1988. Carnival De Lumiere debut in 1982 when the parked first opened.

As did I, but the fact that they wrote about 5 acts that make up EF, well that's news to me. Hopefully it will prove to be an organized and well paced show.

I look forward to that.

We hadn't been down to WDW in a while, but visited last week and I was happy to see Illuminations one last time before it's sent to retirement. I was even happier to see the torch working and the lasers looking great! It was a great show. If only they had brought back the screamer fireworks one last time.

I’m shocked yet delighted Galaxy’s Edge isn’t called Star Wars Land and Pandora isn’t called Avatar Land so there’s at least some hope.

I Loved Tomorrows Child during the EF preview today at D23! Plus EF has the new Epcot Logo ...Interesting!

I’m sure the show will be great. Still doesn’t change the fact that it’s one step closer in fulfilling the agenda of transforming Epcot in to Magic Kingdom 2.0.

Illuminations ROE was my favorite WDW attraction for years. So, not salty. Very, very prepared to be highly disappointed is more accurate a description.
