If the problem of people just ordering dessert was that big, I wish they would've just enforced a rule of one entree per person or something to that effect rather than going this route. Yet another example of people scamming the system and ruining things for everyone else.

demand meant all the tables are booked period so a table ordering dessert is a TON of cash left on the table not to mention the family who wants to eat dinner cant...

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. On what planet is going to a restaurant for dessert “scamming”? That’s a normal, common, practice. Disney doesn’t like it, but to call it a scam. My word.

Call it whatever you want. But Disney wasn't maximizing its potential profits in that location and made adjustments.

So I've heard. Which is why they are making a business decision to maximize profits with a prix fixe menu.

Insightful. Glad you’re around to point these things out. We wouldn’t have known their motivation otherwise. Do you have an inside source?

It does seem pretty basic, doesn't it? Which is why I found it odd you seemed to be having trouble with it.

Happy to help.

I’m having trouble with people ordering dessert being called scammers. I’m also having trouble with the bottomless pit of money grabbing TDO has been systematically implementing lately.

You pointing out the obvious motivation of TDO is not insightful(I was being sarcastic earlier when I said you were insightful) it’s just tiresome.

You guys are making me wonder about BOG now. I have an ADR planned for my May trip and am wondering if I should cancel or atleast try it.
If you have never experienced BOG I wouldn’t let opinions here persuade you to cancel. It is a very cool experience. I say definitely don’t cancel and experience for yourself. I have been probably 10 - 15 times and never had a bad meal. The menu is somewhat unique to the Magic Kingdom therefore some folks deem it not good. It isn’t chicken fingers and hamburgers for sure.
