Sorry what is TWDC?
The Walt Disney Company.

Interesting phrasing. "Abusing the privilege of ADRs..."But this is WDW's most popular restaurant, and people who just want to order dessert so they can cheaply see the inside are abusing the privilege of ADRs to the exclusion of other guests.
I'd say people are just using the system as Disney set it up, loopholes and all.
Not surprised. Next up, people who will stand in the stand-by lines for you for $5.00 per person.Kind of like those who book ADRs for the purpose of selling the time slots.
You know what is funny about this discussion, the last two times we went for dinner, the place seemed empty, it was not even close to full, I promise, so it would seem that it would not be to hard to get for dinner, it seems to me that the early morning breakfast prior to park opening is the only one that is hard to get, the more I think about it
This! So very much this...All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.
BOG is an incredibly LOVELY Cafeteria.
"Enhance" away - it's still a Cafeteria . And could have been so much more .

Well, that'll be worth 2 TS meal credits... /sarcThat was one of our first observations when it first opened. I work at a university and BOG smells and sounds just like the university's dining hall.

So will this replace the usual dinner completely or serve as an alternative?
So, BOG will now be a 2 table service credit "signature" meal? So, you're saying when I opt to use two credits, I'll have to somehow choose between California Grill, Jikos, Tiffins, Hoop De Doo, or BOG? Ugh, that decision is going to be SO difficult to make! (Don't get me wrong, BOG was fun and all, but for the same number of credits? Give me ANY of those others anyday...)
I guess if they kept the cupcakes they would have had to charge $65 for dinner? Here’s the new dessert option — the only one.

A Dessert Trio: a raspberry macaron with lemon filling and fresh raspberries, a maraschino cherry dipped in dark chocolate with hazelnut topping, and a white chocolate cup with the grey stuff.
That is exactly the reason our dinner at BOG during our June trip - before the change - will most likely be our last time at BOG. Sad, but not stupid enough to do it under the new plan.Especially when you bother to do the math.
If a TS is worth about $40, you are forcing DDP people to pay $80 for a meal that costs those without DDP $55.
Dont get fleeced!
