The park doesn't need another coaster. It would be a good addition, but it's not what the park needs. I'd put it in the TRON category, good that they added it but it's probably not what the park needs next.

DHS needs more capacity with low or no height requirements.

Right. If they added the Door Coaster along with 2-3 other rides that are more family/no height restriction, okay. But as is that is not the type of ride that park needs.

Off hand, I think porting the POTC ride from Shanghai would be pretty awesome and appropriate addition for DHS (which also removing the Jack Sparrow elements from the MK POTC to differentiate them more).

I don't think Greece can afford to sponsor it, which would mean Disney would foot the bill. And they wouldn't spend enough to make this as good as it needs to be.
So yeah....that was a myth...but Greece would be a nice fit... Something from the Ancient World, An Adventure ride, A couple new restaurants, some shops... It would certainly be a nice addition... But there have been many proposals over the years before the more recent ones that they have said could be built but would not have an attraction... It is just not a good time for dreams and creativity at TDO...so it seems.

Elephants are extremely intelligent and do not mate when stressed. The incredible, unprecedented success of Disney’s elephant breeding program speaks volumes to how well cared-for they are. The wild would be far more dangerous for them.

We know what stressed big cats do. And it’s not what I observe in the lions, for example. One could make the argument that the cheetahs are slightly less pleased with their lot in life at DAK, though.
I heard a CM story about a Cheetah escaping the exhibit and approaching the white Rhinos. The rhinos protected the baby and intimidated the cheetahs to the point of them either going back to the exhibit or getting far away from the rhinos.

Why not World Showcase with a Greece Pavilion hosting a" Journey into Mythology" sort of treatment.... Entering a Ruined temple we wake the spirit of Zeuss who opens a time portal and brings us back to the Mythological World....
A greek mythology attraction as the headliner for a Greece pavilion would be fantastic.

My only request for the pavilion is that they have a street vendor serving gyros, but that vendor is not allowed to be visited by the board of health. That's not a knock on Greek people, but a serious sentiment on how good the gyros are from those street vendors.
Or a boat ride based on Homer’s Odyssey in the style of Sinbad at DisneySea.

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is a solid flat ride. I think Luigi's is far worse.
I vehemently disagree there. Luigi's to me is fun and with the many song and choreography differences allows for surprises even if you've been on it multiple times. Mater is the same thing every time, and now has a clone in in DHS. Not hating on MJJ or , just prefer the other. However, in Florida it would have to be an indoor or covered ride to have more uptime.

I'd be happy with a clone of Ride and Go Seek from Tokyo Disneyland.

That was exactly my first thought in terms of what should be done in a Monsters Inc land for DHS. Honestly, another thing would be the Laugh Floor show and putting something more appropriate in that space in MK (bring back the Timekeeper maybe!).

Also I would wonder whether the setting of any land would be pre- or post- the first movie. i.e. are screams being used for power or laughs?

Calling it a zoo is a bit reductive. If you removed all live animals from DAK without adding anything new, the park could definitely continue to exist (though it would be worse and not worth the current price of admission). If you removed all the attractions without live animals OTOH, I imagine it would have to close down completely.
The zoo element seemed dominant to me when I visited, but I obviously have much less experience of the park than others do, so I may well be wrong. At any rate, it was enough of a zoo in my eyes that I did not want to return.

I think that'd be a great idea too. Maybe they could build a Harryhausen's and/or a Yeti Snow Cones quick-service too.

Probably post-first movie, since that's what the Laugh Floor and Ride and Go Seek do.

I feel like we may need a refresh of memory to where all the expansion pads for DHS, MK and Epcot are located. @danlb_2000 do you have an updated for the parks?

Started a new thread that is relavant to this...

Finally watched the Disney 100 Documentary on Disney+ (the one that showed the inside of Tiana's Bayou Adventure) and they mention the Tropical Americas land and Encato attraction being considered. I assume Disney wouldn't hint at Tropical Americas in a TV documentary if it wasn't really close to being greenlit.
Any chance that MK and HS seem to be the next parks to be worked on because Tropical Americas has been greenlit, meaning those parks are next for projects to be greenlit for??

Well they built a whole preview center for EPCOT and then cancelled all but two projects.... So don't bet it is close to greenlit until you see shovels on the ground.....and even then it might not be built...lol

Depends on what you consider a "project" but Cosmic Rewind, Ratatouille, Journey of Water and Harmonious were all featured in the Epcot Experience Center and have been built.

And speaking of things featured there/announced, whatever happened to Wondrous China? I feel like we heard that it was already filmed so is that something that might be added at some point? It wouldn't be able to be instantaneous since the screens would need to be renovated to make them seamless.

Anything pro-China right now would be a political firestorm. So, I don't expect it to happen anytime soon.
