I would like to know what will become of the Dino Skeleton molds of the Bronto and Sue..If your not aware they are copy molds from Chicago's Field Museum..It would be nice to see these donated to the Orlando Science Center or at least somewhere it can be seen..

My hope is that they find somewhere else to display them. Possibly at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

Calling it right now. Bookmark this, frame it, whatever you gotta do. But here's what's going to happen...

- Plans for Encanto remain unchanged.
- Indiana Jones is not happening.
- Dinosaur will remain but under a different name and story. Aladar statue and fountain is out. The area will look like a lush, tropical rainforest while the CTX building will look abandoned with overgrowth surrounding it. The "Countdown to Extinction" name will return.
- The ride's new story will center around discovering the abandoned lab and Time Machine. Any loose tie to the 2001 "Dinosaur" movie is gone.
- The change will be heralded at this year's D23 as Disney "listening to the fans", but in reality, they were hesitant to begin work on Indy until external situations played out. Hesitation began after the last Indy movie completely bombed but it was too late to not announce the project at 2023's D23. Now with building materials potentially being 25% more expensive, the large, rolling boulder finally caught up to the man in the hat. Splat.

If they had to cut I think they would just leave Dinosaur as it for a while longer.

So doomsday around here with the upcoming projects. No one knows anything for sure. Hell, that added 3 billion that they announced the other day could be for overruns and contingency purposes. Disney would be stupid not to compete with Epic Universe. More and more is coming out and they have more under their sleeve like the Dragon animatronic I am sure. Everyone chill and let's see where this goes.

Unless things have drastically changed Indy is still a go. They've invested too much to turn back now. Encanto may have cinched the deal but Indy was alway part of the plans. IF they are scaling back, look for it in the Encanto attraction, where the name alone is enough to drive LLs. They can value that down to Tiana levels and it'd still bring folks to DAK.

I don't think Indiana Jones is going anywhere. I'll eat crow if it doesn't make the final cut.

I really love the fanfiction where Disney doesn’t have enough money to retheme this attraction to Indy, but they do have enough to retheme the attraction to a different version of Dinosaur.

I think people just want some fantasy where circumstances come and save their favorites. Reality is often dissapointing. I should know, I’m a figment fan!

Part of that, I feel, stems from Disney's "fan service" D23 attraction lineup and land announcements. Figment of course being the ultimate fan service, dream revival.

Yeah. Very fan service y this year. We should feel lucky we are even getting a big villains land. Still doesn’t feel real.

Ugh. Someday. Hopefully. Though at this point I’m kidna tired of getting my hopes up for figment year after year. Lucy yanks the football away every time. Just depressing and frustrating to me. Close to giving up on the pavilion. Yes, this is a bit dramatic.

Epic Universe is opening in a few months. Things opening in a couple of years aren’t really competing with it. And Disney has known what Universal is planning for Epic Universe.

Why are we acting like Disney is not a multi-billion dollar corporation? Things might get stretched out but increases in steal and other materials is not going to cancel all of these plans. Have faith…

I try to have faith but they are not immune to real world problems I don’t think anything will be canceled but budget cuts could be in order
