Well then @wdwmagic seems to know what he’s talking about that Indiana Jones will happen
Something being the plan today doesn’t prevent it from changing.

But the things announced and especially the things where work has already started have budget approved for them.
These are the sort of things most vulnerable to sudden price increases. You budgeted for X but now need y.

Great big steel tariffs signed.

Also statement that Canada and Mexico aren’t doing enough to avoid tariffs and plans to impose big tariffs on EU. Bluster perhaps, but bluster has consequences even if action doesn’t follow.
I think it comes down to whomever succeeds Iger and their willingness to speak the truth regarding economic conditions. Iger has already bent the knee and I more expect him to continue and lie about any disruptions.

I think people just want some fantasy where circumstances come and save their favorites. Reality is often dissapointing. I should know, I’m a figment fan!
The problem with that thinking is that nothing really gets saved. If Disney is eyeing something to be replaced now, they'll still be eyeing it next time they have overflow cash.

Cars being cancelled now wouldn't mean that Rivers of America are gonna last another 10 years.
Indy being cancelled wouldn't mean that Dinosaur lives on. Remember, there was a Zootopia plan as recently as 2022.

I don’t see much hope. Every corporation has bent the knee. EVERYONE but the courts have bent the knee, and they’re probably irrelevant. It’s going to take widespread instability before we see any kind of significant shift.

Instability, of course, is also bad for bringing theme park projects in on budget.

Any sort of budget impact would only delay the opening of these lands, not cancel the closures they require. Are we really praying for Muppets to close this year but no MI land until 2030?
Muppets is closing very early as a cost-cutting measure. Economic chaos will only reinforce that decision (and encourage more closures). I don’t think anyone has any illusions that Muppets can be saved.

At least they've learnt from the Disney Decade. Instead of announcing 10 years of projects and only completing the first half of projects over the decade and adding some changes in the later years , they've only announced the first 5 years of plans of the next 10, so they can stretch out the projects if necessary and come up with more ideas later on that fits a new budget.

I would like to know what will become of the Dino Skeleton molds of the Bronto and Sue..If your not aware they are copy molds from Chicago's Field Museum..It would be nice to see these donated to the Orlando Science Center or at least somewhere it can be seen..
