How do you know? That’s a big reach, wish, Snow White, and Jungle Book are there too and neither one of those films have upcoming attractions lined up.
That's the point.

Dino Land USA is three words so honestly I don't think it makes a difference. The only thing I don't like about the Tropical Americas name is that it's not a single word like Africa, Asia and Pandora (which thankfully they decided not to include "the world of avatar" on park signs)

Camp Minnie-Mickey, Rafiki's Planet Watch......I just believe the lands within a park should feel cohesive, and naming is a part of that
Dinoland USA was always an outlier at DAK, name included
While I do generally agree, I'm sure not there's anything you could name it that would make sense. Just calling America doesn't really work since that mainly implies the US and nothing in this will be US themed. Basically anything else requires multiple words.I just believe the lands within a park should feel cohesive, and naming is a part of that

I’m hoping it’s there this December, as I’ve never ridden it!I would LOVE it if Dinosaur were still open while they're working on the Encanto area. I'd really like to get one more ride, and I won't be back there till July.
Let's call it, then, "Tropicana!"The only thing I don't like about the Tropical Americas name is that it's not a single word like Africa, Asia and Pandora (which thankfully they decided not to include "the world of avatar" on park signs)

Tropical America is the most politically correct, and I mean that in a good way. This could cover Mexico all the way to the tip of South America. Coco and Enconto fits, there are older IP like the 3 Caballeros. Also, it opens up for future IP in any country south of USA. The sad part is, this is what Disney does best now, coming up with good titles but not necessarily good content. They have done a nice recovery in their movies with Inside Out 2 and Deadpool and Wolverine, maybe we get a happy surprise in new content in the parks (not holding my breath). The name Tropical Americas in ok in my opinion, I would prefer something more specific like "South America" or "latin America" but I get the idea of having a broad name so we have a bigger amount of variety when it comes to cultures representing.
Can we also just be grateful they didn't include a stupid tag line like Tropical Americas: Inspired by Encanto or Indy's Tropical Americas Adventure. I hate the shameless insert IP name they started with naming these lands and rides.
Eh, not all the way. Uruguay and almost all of Argentina and Chile are outside of the tropics. This could cover Mexico all the way to the tip of South America.
Just call it Tropics. The only thing I don't like about the Tropical Americas name is that it's not a single word like Africa, Asia and Pandora (which thankfully they decided not to include "the world of avatar" on park signs)
I mean, the tropics circle the entire globe. “Americas” is pretty necessary to specify that it doesn’t include relevant parts of Africa, Asia, and Oceania.Just call it Tropics.
Yes, but if Tropical Americas is too much of a mouthful, just say or type Tropics; when referring to this land in DAK.I mean, the tropics circle the entire globe. “Americas” is pretty necessary to specify that it doesn’t include relevant parts of Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
It is possible that commonly most people will just refer to it as the tropics in DAK, but I think for an official name, Tropical Americas is the best as it describes the region correctly and is in line with the rest of the park in terms of the name going along with different continents and the regions of the world.Yes, but if Tropical Americas is too much of a mouthful, just say or type Tropics; when referring to this land in DAK.
Well, and then Pandora.…and is in line with the rest of the park in terms of the name going along with different continents and the regions of the world.
