we land on monday 18th, theres emh at dhs in the evening the park so guessing could be less crowds (tsm!!!!) or mk is open till 10pm?
which one to go to.we have 14 nights there so not in any particluar rush, but if dhs will be near empty might be worth hitting that and get alot under the belt.
what would you do??
i think id like the first magic kingdom visit to be able to be there all day not just a few hours, but then its a great start to the holiday!? decisions decisions

Hi there.
I think you;re trying to say both MK and DHS has evening EMH on May 18th?
MK has evening EMH on the 17th of May, not 18th according to this: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/earlyentry.htm
As far as I know, two parks never have EMH at the same time on the same day.

Well normally I would go to whichever is having emh but since it is your first day I say go to MK. But then again I am not that much of a DHS. There are a few good rides for me but I like the daytime shows better. I get much much more out of MK but that is just my own personal preference.

I agree, I have no desire to go to go DHS during EMHs. I would rather go to MK until 10pm.

I don't think he was saying they both have EMH that night. I think he was just saying that MK was open to 10 normally but DHS had EMH and wanted to know which he should do.

yes thats my dilema!, go to emh at dhs (which is 7pm -10pm) or go to mk which is till 10pm.(normal hours)
if we go to dhs we could probably get the big rides tsm tot rnrc, etc out of the way, whilst its quiet, so at least we have done them.if mk open till 10 i would imagine it would be busy at that park and quiet at dhs?

think your right about 2 parks not having he same EMH. I prefer the night EMH rather than the morning ones. Seems like more of a crowd at the night ones but have found HS to have smaller crowds for the morning ones and I think MK has the better night EMH's

I think EMH is WAY better at MK than the Studios.

Unless you want to ride Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster over and over again for 3 hours.

At all the popular attractions are open, and almost every attraction is popular at MK.

When I did emh at the studios, they put an extra Fantasmic on for us. It was nice. I always save Magic k for last! I ALWAYS have. I love it that way. Animal Kingdom is always first.

Since you are there for 14nights, I'd do the EMH at DHS instead of MK. You'll have plenty of time to go to MK till closing or for EMH. I say go for DHS with the less crowds, bc you won't be able to ride TSM like that on a normal day, unless you get to the park at opening and its a ride that is not to be missed!

14 nights is plenty of time to do what you wanna do... there shouldn't be a dilemma!

Just because it is EMH doesn't mean there won't be crowds. The last time I went and DHS had EMH, Toy Story still had a substantial wait. No matter when you go, get in line for it right at closing (like 5 minutes to the park closes). The line...if full...will be, at most, 30 minutes.
