I think they might of been used for splashtacular. If they could build a huge wand and spend all that money just to put it up and take it down they could fix the fountain and more add it to the time scheulds, get a sponcer for it have a voice after the show saying "this show was bought to you fountiain shows go off every 15 minits. Besides that is is a good eye catcher and I still see it get crowded with people and they would hear that company be called out every 15 minits how many times do you hear sylvania once in the brochure and a couple times telling you when the show starts and after the show and the fountain sponcer would be lablen in the brochure. If that was the case the fountain would be crowded around and it is 6 foot tall so every spot is a good spot as long as your not standing in front of a building between you and the fountain. To me that was my disney highlight as a kid. like i said I believed I saw mickey but the fountain I thought was a dream. People passing it probaly makes them think that it is not worth investing in but realey noone knows about it so people have somewhere to go fastpass whatever but I bet if they knew about it I bet they would sit and watch but the fountin isnt part of their plan. Look at belagio it is the most boaring thing ever compared to epcot people stand around to watch it. The epcot fountain is cool because it is shooting from a cool waterfall ind it has all these cool fountains going off while belagio keeps in doing the same thing with the dance moves and it takes place in a lake.

And I agree, if they can build "temporary" wands and turn Cinderella Castle into a birthday cake just to take it all down again, they can't invest a little time and money into the main fountain in the center of the third most attended theme park in the United States (6th in the world)? Its kinda frustrating to be honest. :brick:

I didn't know those little sprayers still worked. I've seen the mist, and the fans work well usually, I know that, but those little micro-sprayers are news to me. NEVER have I seen those work (except in the video you mentioned).

my fountain is called the miny epcot fountain because it dances to music. I actrualey just took it apart and cleaned it up. It actrualey looks like one of those jumping fountains outside of imagination is has a ring around it similar to the ones at imagination. I have yet to to make the inside blue. I have this whole what was a garden and turned it into an oasis or (mini theme park) Its a good place to habd out in and people take advantage of it. It has a sound loop that plays all day and it stope for 4 minits for the fountain which goes off every 15 minits. The music loop actrualey has some epcot music added into it. The sprayers I am talking abut were upside down triangles that hung over the edge of the fountain. they were taken off during the refurbishment and i hope they put them back on. It only has 3 dancing nozzles but for a 20 foot section of this place that its in and the attendence of 10 people tops thats all I need but they actrualey pull it off.
I am having trouble pasting the picture i will put it on asap. I actruley built it this spring i guess a year without seeing the fountain will do that.

FON was running yesterday (Thursday the 2nd) with the shows... doesn't look like anything was improved pre-fire.

Also, just a slight OT note, they are replacing the old tile in the breezeway between Character Spot and Innoventions West with a green multi-striped walkway...

They might of just cleaned out the pennys they do that sometimes. I dont know if o am to crazy about the new tiles you speak of they have to keep things origional.

Technically it was winter 1993 but hey :D

Makes me wonder if the high jets (the perims, well those not covered by the stage) have air faults; they use compressed air to shoot as high as they used to.

Point A-We've just begun to dream is still officialy Epcot's anthem. Unfortunately they rarely play it.
Point B other than a few new lyrics and Eden Espineola the Magical theme sounds the same to me.

Right...Last I heard it was on C25.

Right, even for that it was rescored and re recorded.

It must of been gon for a while because I bareley remember it playing evept for illuminations 25 a and some old videos. Izner got rid of one of their main songs as I have heard.

just face it epcot is beeing abused. They just see it as land and try to get as mutch as they can get out of it untill it is ruined and useless and noone realey cares for it like the living seas and innovention for example. I used to have a blast in cuniform plaza and the early innoventions not I just hang around there to go to club cool, watch the fountain and to chill by it ehrn i am drained from running around. Innoventions is just a hospitality now. The fountain is the only thing thats left from cuniform and actrualey one of my favorites.

Disney didnt even plan on having caracters in epcot. His influence is no longer there and his ideas were plain abused. They call it epcot froe a reason Epcot center is no longer there. Bring back everything to its old state and bring back horizons. Get rid of that death trap mishion space. All its good for is making you sick and ruining your day at what used to be epcot center. But they should keep the fountain shows they werent there on the opening date but the fountain and its shows together is an epct timeless classic and they should invest in it more. GET THE FOUNTAIN A SPONCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fountain goes off every 15 minits. After that you gan get the voice that comes on saying bought to you by _______ you can catch a fountain show wvwry 15 minits and right there you hear that sponcer name way more than you hear sylvania unless it is sylvania. They could also make some name for the shows to make it stand out more mabu name it after splashtacular or suprise in the sky something not stupid. I dont think fountain os nations fountain show would pull it off I personaly wouldnt mind them calling it that but if it makes the shows better it ppasses in my view. i just dont want them to play like hannah montana or the cheta girls or something. I already had that nightmare and it was horibul the guard rails were purple and the micro shooters were yellow. I hope I am not giving them ideas. If epcot was a celebrity (living person) she would be lost from it not beeing herself kind of like all the other messed up celebritys. She would be depresed. She already shaved the wand off like britaney spears shaved her head but that was a good thing.
