I just hope they don't add Disney channel pop star music to the fountain. They need to add more music. It's the same 8 songs since 1994. I like them, but you are guaranteed to see some shows repetitively. That doesn't mean I want the Disney channel pop star music. I hope I didn't start a problem.

I do somewhat agree with you. Maybe if they orchestrated new stirring music or borrowed songs from the Soarin' queue, it could truly work. And no, you didn't start a problem. But I hope that Disney doesn't get ideas from that... :lookaroun

I thought the fountain was working fantastically a couple of weeks ago. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary to me, and I did compare it to shows from earlier years.
Maybe it's my untrained eye.

That dosnt mean I want the disney challel pop star music I hope I didnt start a problum. They need something like the pirates of the caribean music, Some reflections of muisc would fit since its getting old and will probaly be changed soon. They need a new system thats al old fountain I bet they could find something just as good but more eastier to run. I noticed new piping in a picture they removed those 6 fountains where 3 on each side ren off the sides then they were back and all 3 were working. For a while only 2 were working. Theres no reason that should be broken They should have a fountain tech that fixes those little things I dont know but those look like little easy things especially after hoe was they took it apart and put it back together. I am suprised the fountain is still there i saw the fountain going down hill For a while each year I was afraid to go to epcot and see no fountain or at least fountain shows.

They did add a new show in 2000- Celebrate the Future, so I'm thinking it's not that hard.

True. I do hope they make a show using the Reflections of Earth score once the show is over. There are some parts, like in Chaos or Celebration, that would be good for a fountain show. :)

YES. Anyway they can save that music, I approve. Even BGM like they did back in 2000.

Ah, BGM...The easy little key to preserving some of EPCOT Center's great past.

Maybe the 2000 entrance loop? Part of it had a ROE medley of Adventure and Celebration that ran about 2:36.
The others included a longer instrumental version of Tomorrow's Child and Space from Horizons.

I work with fountains so I formed an ocd for that. The lights are back to normin. The fountains use to make the water shoot put realey thick and white kind of wat water looks like when you see a waterfall and the little dancing fountains that went thru the middle and around the edges were like that to and bareley left the surface so mutch water came out. Now less water comes out. You cant just let something be amazing and then cut it short you have to keep those things up. the fog coming off the fountains used to be so thick it surounded the fountain and passed the fences and the waterfalls would disapear then the fountains would appear out of the fog it was totally amazing. The fountains were so thick all even and and shot up perfect and even. i rather have what there is now than no fountain but those were what i remember from ther fountiain. Look for the "epcot fountain of nations (christmas)" video on youtube you will see peace projected on the ball the fountain is completly amazing. Dont get me wrong I still love the fountain to death but that was so amazing. I remember the first time seeeing the fountain at night and a fiew tears later I thought the fountain was just a dream and then one day I went to Epcot saw Reflections of earth for the first time with the image of the globe opening up stuck in my head I was only 9 and then I walk out of mouse gear to find the fountain. Thats when it was still top notch.

Ah, that was a good time for the fountain. That was taken within a year of so of the refurb that made it capable for it to dance. Just about everything was working the way it should (those super-shooters; wow, thats high!), even the little sprayer nozzles that were long ago forgotten. Is it too much to ask for them to get it working like that again? They have the lights back, if not better than they used to be. Now if they could just get the nozzles to the same state...

When was it made to dance? 1994 or 96? Something tells me it was later....

I am pretty shure about that to. It was dancing when innoventions was still cuniform. Splashtacular came along with epcot 94. I loved cuniform plaza it was so mutch more fun than innoventions and it looked beter. Not trying to change the topic but the fountain has been running off the same hardware since 94. I think they should keep everything they got but upgrade. How coool would it be if they got oarsmen (twirly robotic fountains) like the belagio fountain. They run off from the top and poar into the bottom level and it kinds of looks like they will hit you when they flip from the middle of the sides but they dont.

Why don't they do a show for "We've just begun to dream".:animwink:

Yeah! they could even do it for the opening rope drop! Personally, I wish they'd do an opening show with a quintet of trumpeters. I think that would be a great way to enter the park, as they play We've Just Begun to Dream in time with the fountain. :)

Oh, sounds lovely.:D

If anything, EPCOT's anthem needs to return!
Which they have shamelessly used yet again in Disneyland's "Magical" fireworks show.

True, but it's not a direct lift...They had to re tool and re score an TON of it.

I bet they could send one guy up there fto fool around with that stuff. Things leak and get cloged. I can mantain a swimming pool and a minni vershion of the epcot fountain in less tan an hour. I bet investing a couple days wouldnt hurt. Those cool sprayer fountains actrualey still work but are only seen in that one christmas show and still work as of last christmas and as I heard not just half of then or 3 quarters of them and one that veers way off. I think they might of been used for splashtacular. If they could build a huge wand and spend all that money just to put it up and take it down they could fix the fountain and more add it to the time scheulds, get a sponcer for it have a voice after the show saying "this show was bought to you fountiain shows go off every 15 minits. Besides that is is a good eye catcher and I still see it get crowded with people and they would hear that company be called out every 15 minits how many times do you hear sylvania once in the brochure and a couple times telling you when the show starts and after the show and the fountain sponcer would be lablen in the brochure. If that was the case the fountain would be crowded around and it is 6 foot tall so every spot is a good spot as long as your not standing in front of a building between you and the fountain. To me that was my disney highlight as a kid. like i said I believed I saw mickey but the fountain I thought was a dream. People passing it probaly makes them think that it is not worth investing in but realey noone knows about it so people have somewhere to go fastpass whatever but I bet if they knew about it I bet they would sit and watch but the fountin isnt part of their plan. Look at belagio it is the most boaring thing ever compared to epcot people stand around to watch it. The epcot fountain is cool because it is shooting from a cool waterfall ind it has all these cool fountains going off while belagio keeps in doing the same thing with the dance moves and it takes place in a lake.
