Myself – 29/F - Former College Program Castmember and Disneyholic

Itinerary:
Thursday – Travel, arriving in Orlando around 2:30 PM, Check into Pop, & head to DTD for PI's final nights
Friday – EPCOT - 1st day of Food & Wine festival & back to PI
Saturday – DHS, MK & PI's final Hoopla!
Sunday – Sleep in, Mourn PI's passing, MNSSHP
Monday – DTD for more mourning and time to go home *sigh*

Day 1 9/25/08-

Da*n I hate to fly...Omaha to Dallas, Dallas to Orlando. Land, grab my luggage and grab my rental car (yay Alamo!) Heading to Pop Century it's time for the 1st photo of the trip:

Quick unpack and it's time to get ready for Pleasure Island. Adventurer's Club opened at 6pm and I wanted to be there for the whole shebang. Time to get sassy:

Time to head to the one and only Adventurers Club. I managed to catch the Balderdash Cup & Christmas Show before it got too packed to move. The Kungalooshes were flowing a bit TOO easily and I was soon overcome...

Christmas show:

By the time the Christmas show was over, I had had one too many Kungalooshes and ended up taking a nap upstairs in one of the comfy chairs

Friday – EPCOT - 1st day of Food & Wine festival & back to PI

Woke up with a wicked hangover (too many Kungalooshes!) and decided to head to EPCOT around noonish. For it being the 1st day of F&W the crowds actually weren't bad. Most everyone was in World Showcase so lines for the rides weren't bad at all.

They were OUT of Mezzo Mix (oh the horror!!)

Saturday – DHS, MK & PI's final Hoopla!

Popped over to DHS to check out TSM - the standby line was 70 minutes and the fastpasses weren't available until 5pm and I'd be long gone by then - oh well, I'll catch it in December. Caught some streetmosphere and rode TOT then...

Hopped over the the Magic Kingdom. Again, crowds were light and I think the longest standby was 20 minutes.

This thing is HUGE!!!

Got to Pleasure Island around 7pm and by then it was way too late to even think about getting into the Adventurers Club

Sunday – Sleep in, Mourn PI's passing, & MNSSHP

After 3 nights in a row at PI it was time to SLEEP IN!!!

Went to go eat lunch at ESPN Club and when I pulled into the Boardwalk, security said if I wasn't staying there I had to use valet parking !?!?! When did this start? I'm not gonna pay $10 to go eat!! Has anyone else had this issue? So we headed over to House of Blues instead - hooray for free parking!

At PI they had already started demolishing the place and covering up the evidence that 'fun' ever happened there

Enough depression....to the Magic Kingdom...AND BEYOND!!!!!

Yay! Driving and taking photos at the same time, now that's talent!!

MNSSHP 9/28 - crowds were LIGHT and it was FABULOUS!!! We got to MK around 4:30pm and got our wristbands & candy-sacks and took off! The sky was dark and ominous and felt like rain, but it held off!

Boo to You! and Hallowwishes. I actually managed to catch BOTH parades. We were eating at Pecos Bills when the 1st one started and I managed to snap a few photos over the wall, I've arranged them in chronological order of the parade and not when they were taken.

I apologize in advance for my awful non-tripod night photos...enjoy!

And thus brings us to the end of another trip report.

All in all the trip was short but wonderful. It was a much needed break from the 'real' world. I'm sad to see the Adventurers Club go, but not sad to see the demise of PI in general. I wish I could have gotten into the AC on the final night but I didn't feel like fighting the crowds.

MNSSHP was a blast as always and I can't wait for my 1st MVMCP in December.

Great Report. I like your F&W pics since I have never been there for that. I am surprised to hear about the Boardwalk parking. I have never heard that before.
