I know the tech-team for fireworks can only work with what they have (inventory) but there have been so many substitutions with shells lately, I hardly recognize the show. Not as many shells and tons of substitutions has left Wishes wishing for the good ole days.
What's the deal?
boo... you still around here? Any insight?
Yea they looked rough when I saw them in April.I've seen SpectroMagic backstage, and I can say, it doesn't look good in condition.
A figment of some fanboys imagination. What is Dreams Come Alive?

Yes, I've read it, I wanted to know if there were more news. Sorry for the wrong questionRead the first post Jose.
It's supply issues. Big time. Out of WDWs control. It may take a fair few weeks if not longer for things to settle.I know the tech-team for fireworks can only work with what they have (inventory) but there have been so many substitutions with shells lately, I hardly recognize the show. Fireworks are as Iconic to Disney as the Statue of Liberty is Iconic to America.Let's hope WDW does all it can to limit or eliminate pyrotechnic air and water pollution and switch to more environmentally friendly shows.
Hopefully that will change with time. Laser light shows can be just as impressive (if not more so) and they are far safer. Laser shows are much more expensive at this time but I expect the cost to come down as laser technology improves and mass production reduces expenses.Fireworks are as Iconic to Disney as the Statue of Liberty is Iconic to America.

WDW is a great area to use this technology since aircraft can be diverted so pilots would not be endangered by these displays.
The continued use of fireworks by burning various metallic salts and poisoning the air, water and land needs to be phased out. The toxicity of multiple nightly displays is not reasonable since there are better alternatives.
It does. Since 1987.Hopefully that will change with time. Laser light shows can be just as impressive (if not more so) and they are far safer. Laser shows are much more expensive at this time but I expect the cost to come down as laser technology improves and mass production reduces expenses.

He is even nicer in person.Yeah, I just don't like this sniping amongst various people/sites. Very negative and there's no reason for it. Martin didn't say anything inaccurate, so why did this other person feel the need to gloat? Add to that, Martin's nice on the boards - he doesn't have a go at others, so...just one of those things that got my blood pressure up a bit.
