Everyone I know in England that travels to Orlando has shopping in their plans. It goes something like: sunshine, parks, restaurants and shopping. The savings on electronics and clothing are significant. DTD is going to cater for that.
I just don't understand why people travel in order to shop.

Yes any day now. There are also more presentations to the cast today.
How dare those foreigners come here to shop. The nerve of them. Chanting, singing, dancing and now SHOPPING? The sky is truly falling. They need to "learn our ways". Oh wait, didn't Americans invent conspicuous consumption?
Just because you do not see value in it does not mean that it does not have value to someone else. I am sure there are plenty of things that you do that would bore me to tears and vice versa. It does not mean that the entire world should bend to the tastes of an individual.
If this means that future expansion could be any other mythical property, I'm for it.Avatar is looking more and more like simply one E-Ticket attraction and a shop with land 'available' for 'future development' ... the latest news.
If they have third parties signed, I can not imagine them not having a completion date agreed upon.I would just like to see them build this expansion in a hurry, rather in typical taking-their-slow--time fashion.
As a resident of the state of Florida I thank you for being that. You and your like minded brethren make it to where I do not have to pay a state income tax so keep coming to the sunshine state and bring your friends!I've been coming to Orlando from the UK for the last twenty one years and I must confess shopping, especially at the Florida Mall is a huge part of the experience for me. The words dirt and cheap come to mind. I must be one of the people that Disney profiles as spending money like water UKers.
That doesn't offend me, I've been called far worse: - )
because tourists are rubes and don't realize they can get better food at TGI Friday's without waiting two hours to get in ...
My question: where is everyone going to park while the 2 new garges are built? You really can't afford to loose 2 lots. Parking already sucks there!!
Thinking this as well. I read somewhere in this thread to expect 16-19 months, which seems fast, I guess, for Disney lately.I would just like to see them build this expansion in a hurry, rather in typical taking-their-slow--time fashion.
Well, based on what I just read in another thread, the early arson attempts have gone awry, so that may slow things down. :lookarounThinking this as well. I read somewhere in this thread to expect 16-19 months, which seems fast, I guess, for Disney lately.
