Besides, mammal meat probably wouldn't work very well on a stick. They would probably need some filler to make the consistency of the meat compress better and hold to the stick. Mmmm, maybe some cat or horse?

You've never had shish kebab? Or beef Satay? Hmmmm, meat on a stick! ;)

I tried sweet breads once at a very good french restaurant. No THAT was an experience.

Plus, let us not forget how spoiled we are in this country. About two-thirds of the worlds population uses insects as part of their daily diet.

that is very sad. they do have more than one dolphin don't they?

They had 2, and as dolphins in the wild tend to "buddy up" the remaining one is certainly suffering.

Erika,

remember the belugas (spelling?) at the Shed Aquarium...how they kept dying? That was sad and angered me....but a side note..one of my buddies used to drive one of those amphibious "Ducks" tours...and when they drove by the Shed...my buddy said, "now over to your left when have the shed aquarium...otherwise known as the whale jail"...but he did not know the top guy of the shed was standing out side and heard this.....it was a big mess and he almost lost his job.

That's hilarious, good for him! I'm glad he got to keep his job.

"Dolphins In Depth" Tour ???

Just got the call yesterday about the tour being cancelled until further notice, and our trip is in July.

According to the message it was cancelled "due to circumstances beyond our control." No actual mention of the dolphin dying.

It's a shame about the dolphin.....

My wife is crushed  , she was so looking forward to swimming with the dolphins on our trip. She understands and feels bad as well, but she did say that we'll just have to go back again to do this tour when, and if, it comes back.

Hey darkimage you should look into going to discovery cove over at seaworld

Would you be able to get tickets for there now? Don't you have to book quite far in advance?
