Does anyone know when the Brazilian Tour groups usually show up?

If tour groups from Nebraska or Indiana were notorious for behaving in the same fashion as being discussed here, you can bet people would be inquiring about how to avoid their presence at all costs. I know I would.

Like I said, it's the behavior, not the people, that is the annoyance.

Ok...cheerleaders and pop warner are not particularly well behaved (seen that from both sides of the name tag)...neither are college intern conventions from fortune 500s who are obliterated 18 hours a day...

How can I avoid them?

Fwiw.. I’ve actually avoided Pompano Beach, FL at all costs whenever there’s an important soccer match.. specifically to avoid the obnoxious Brazilians on those days.lol
That has more to do with their soccer team preference than the actual behavior though. :)

I avoid cheerleader and pop warner times for the very same reason I avoid tour groups....my sanity & enjoyment of the vacation. Simply find out when certain groups that have dealt you a negative experience are attending in high quantity, and avoid those times if you can.

Imagine people coming to a theme park and being loud! Wow this just has to stop. I think there should be no screaming allowed on rollercoasters etc. I usually come to the parks for some peace and quite. Shhhhhhhhhhhh
And while we are at it I witnessed a nice group of young Folks who were trashed and dropping F bombs in EPCOT last night. That offended me and would be glad to exchange it for some flag toting kids singing songs. I hate this Brazil hating that goes on.

I've seen groups with flags before. I've also seen them wearing matching shirts with the flag on it.

Thanks. That makes sense.

@POLY LOVER , I totally agree with your post. Latino kids singing songs/chanting, I’d take it over rude or cursing people near me every single time. I’ve never seen the chanting at the parks, but I don’t think I would be too bothered.

Uh...right. Because screaming on a roller coaster is somehow the same thing as drowning out the spiel of a pre-show with chanting. Got it.

...and now that we have expanded the net, this whole discussion isn't so uninformed/slimey

Let's all admit one thing I am sure we can agree on, as adults we all loathe teenagers. I've disliked teenagers even when I WAS one. They are loud, obnoxious and that multiplies when they are in groups. If you are teenager that is reading this I am sorry, I won't apologize and by the time you are in your 20s you'll understand. Brazilian, Argentinian, regional cheerleaders, UCLA's Football team, I don't care, chances are I will immediately be annoyed with them simply because they are obnoxious teenagers.
Not I. Me, I like them. Teenagers are a bit rowdy, but also happy, energetic and less cranky than us foul-tempered cantankerous middle aged types. ;)

Disney runs a loud dance party outside the carousel of progress, it drowns out the pre show should that be stopped some may consider it loud and obnoxious. Loud music dancing screaming kids ouch.

This isn't about race, ethnicity, nationality, or whatever you want to side-step the issue as. It is about courtesy and respect for other park guests.

I don't care if you are a tour group of the whitest Caucasians visiting from the nation of Whitey Whiteland... if you are chanting in queues, pre-shows, restaurants, etc, or attempting to line jump, YOU ARE A PROBLEM.
I agree with everything you just said 100%. I don't care what the color of your skin is or where you are from, if you are doing something that is disturbing other guests, you are going to be viewed as an annoyance. Still trying to catch my breath from laughing so hard about "Whitey Whiteland".

I used to get infuriated at the Brazilian tour groups and their chanting.

Then I went to a medical conference in Chile and experienced the same environment with highly educated doctors and nurses from all over South America. My counterpart explained that boisterous singing and chanting is part of their culture and it's not abnormal or frowned upon in most situations.

So while still annoying, I look at it completely different now. They are having a good time and expressing it the way they always have.

The Brazilian flags on the flag and t shirts.

I can also recognize Brazilian Portuguese. As Russel Peters says in his comedy set it sounds like a really "slow" person speaking Spanish.
Actually though it's a beautiful language and I think sounds better than Spanish.

It’s a good thing that not all Spanish sounds the same. ;)

I don't mind tour groups as long as they try and be considerate to other guests, unfortunately I haven't experienced much consideration in the parks from young tour groups. Last trip I was entering the single rider queue for rockin rollercoaster, I was about 10 steps into the line when a group of about 20 screaming Brazilian teens rushed past me (they honestly made me jump). After 2 minutes of their screaming and singing I decided to skip the ride, being confined with them in the tight queue would have been torture.

I think any time you have a "group" together, it can lead to loud/unruly behavior - regardless of where they're from. Yes, the Brazilian groups probably take the cake. I'd ban them all. 🤣

Sorry, that "dance party" just IS loud and obnoxious. Especially considering nobody's dancing.
