Does anyone know when the Brazilian Tour groups usually show up?

But, I recognize that sometimes we break the rules not only traveling around the world, but also in our country. This is, unfortunately, one of Brazil's biggest disappointment that motivates the corruption in the country

They're mean birds though. They have an annual migration to an office building where I work in Tallahassee. Stay clear when they're nesting or you'll get it.

My kids always think they are similar to ducks where as you can sort of chase them. Except geese stand their ground and won't run. Geese and swans, why do kids think these birds are tame? Cartoons I guess.

That's why we used to play Duck, Duck, Goose in kindergarten. Sure, it was a fun, simple game. Yet it taught me the valuable life lesson of which waterfowl are safe to pat on the head, and which will chase you vigorously. Of course, it is also important to keep in mind that simply getting back to your spot will not fend off an attacking goose in the wilds. In that aspect, the game was full of lies.

We find that they are the worst in January/February, not so bad in the summer. I can't remember seeing one in August.

That being said, the benefits of going that time of year outweigh their annoyance. We just walk around them. For the ones who are from Argentina and such, they are usually shocked to hear Spanish coming out of my mouth telling them to behave themselves.

Canadian Geese? Wait. . . You're referring to Brazilians.

They were brutal this past weekend. As were crowds in general, touring plans didn't this weekend correct, or in the ball park really.

I agree. And this has nothing to do with what country they are from, just that there were droves of them. I was so bummed because I was expecting manageable crowds like the last time I went in late January, and it completely took away from our experience.

Now I do understand that that's my own fault for going into it with high expectations, but is it difficult to not feel disappointed when you spent months trying to figure out the best time to go and expected that the crowd calendars would be somewhat accurate. We also ended up throwing down over $100 to do the Happily Ever after dessert party just to make sure we had room to breathe and folks were literally jumping over the fence to stand in the garden viewing area because it was so packed. My husband went to inform the nice gentlemen working the party of this and he seemed absolutely stunned that people were doing that.

Needless and sadly to say, we will probably not be return to Disney for a while now seeing that you can't really go into any time of year hoping for manageable crowds. Seems more like the luck of the draw now. :(

Several groups were there Jan 8-12. The impact comes from traveling as a group at all times rather then splitting up and enjoying the parks. Attraction and meal lines back up, Fast Pass + is impacted when rides temporarily close, and tour members often sing and spirit cheer as they go through the park. It sort of spoils the ambiance, like one person's park experience is more important than the next.
