It is an acquired taste (also, I'm not a youngster anymore so I've probably lost some of my taste sensitivity ) but I like it okay. In fact, and it is made as an apertif (to cleanse the palate), and works as designed.

I have to say, it grows on you after a while. Won't say I ove it, but at least I don't gag after I drink it now.

Just curious, is it on the menu at Tutto Italia or Via Napoli? :lookaroun

I do. It has the same consistency as Unicum / Zwack, which is made in Hungary. Zwack / Unicum, though is a 40-proof after dinner liqueur.

Both Unicum / Zwack and Beverly do cleans the palette before dinner, though Unicum is much stronger.

I have not actually tried it myself but have never been to Club cool... as I always seem to somehow miss it... will make sure to try this trip though!

I really dont have an issue with the drink, it's not the best drink but i have tried much worse. Cant see the issue myself :shrug:

My mom LOVES the stuff. She has to get it every time she goes to Epcot. I can't stand it. It tastes like a foul medicine I had to take for some random illness I got as a kid. I'll do a shot with friends now and then as long as I can chase it with the Japan vegetable one, but that's all I can take.

I do, however, like to con people into drinking it and watching their reactions.

There is another Italian soda, not from the fountains, called Chinotto and I think it may be just as bad. However, some people swear by it.

I prefer Aranciata (orange soda) and Limonata (lemon soda) more. Taste great and they might have them at the Italy pavilion restaurants. I'd have to check the menu.

I drink them at home all the time so I usually don't order them out.

I like it. But I've only had it in EPCOT.

At home I like to get Sanbitter or Crodino. It's a similar taste., similar product. An aperitif or digestive.

I know they have Limonata :slurp: at Tutto Italia, don't know about Aranciata.
