Do you plan fake trips like I do?

 This is how much of a dork I am - I plan trips that I know I can't take. Oh, I don't call WDW and put down deposits or anything, but I check to see what the airfare would be, then if the rooms I want are available and how cheap I could get them, I plan out ADRs and see what's going on when I'm there.

Is this, like, the worst you've ever heard????

Can I come too? I want to do the "Dolphin Experience" that they have at Epcot... anybody want to join me for that one?

And who's making our matching t-shirts - they are an alsolute must on a fake trip!!!

Oh one more thing, you can me put down for a pedicure at the spa.

Thanks and I'll see you there!:lookaroun

I'm a real fake trip planner. I plot out where, when, what cost airlines, etc. Since I'm on the West coast, I don't go to WDW that often. In fact Ive only been once, but will be going again in (see counter in my signature). So, when I do go, I go BIG.:sohappy:

Good grief! This is ridiculous! You people are the saddest bunch of...

...hang on...

...I'm guilty too. :lookaroun

Well, actually...I'm nowhere near organised enough to do all the logistics of a fake trip. But other than that, I've spend days where just about from minute to minute I think of what I would've been doing if the day was spend in WDW...

...OK, I'm good. Count me in.

YAY! My mom and I are not the only ones. We do this constantly - we plan what it would be to stay like at the nicest hotels with the best rooms, most expensive food package, three week stay, etc. We have the best time planning our ultimate dream Disney vacation. (of course any Disney vacation is a dream)

We also plan my fake future Disney wedding. I'm definitely not engaged, be we like planning what the ultimate wedding their would be like - even down to the Disney line of wedding dresses.

I have so much fun dreaming...

Fake money does grow on trees.

You know, you're right. I just went down to the local Staples and picked up 500 sheets of paper for my printer and I'm running a new batch now so I'm good to go! :animwink:

Actually this whole idea could be really useful. I'd love to see folks make up itineraries of various length stays, in budget/moderate/deluxe price ranges including things like restaurant choices, and why they made the choices they did, etc.

Might be a very handy guide for when it comes to planning the real deal.

And maybe it would be fun to hear everybody's "dream" trips and what they cost.

Gotcha. Are you coming alone or should I plan on a friend or two while I am planning my budget? Friends are always welcome where I come from, don't worry about the cost, just invite away! We may need more rooms than just one suite so get me the count as soon as possible.....

We used to do that when we were kids... And I overheard my 3-year-old niece playing Disney World with her toy camping set just this afternoon!

They have on all of their Disney stuff including ponchos and whatnot. They are trying to "talk" Daddy into going back this year.

I'll play.... I vote to stay at the Poly, anyone else?

There are five of us and we want to fly first class and be picked up by a limo.

Let's do this, one week at the GF, one at AKL and the next at the Presdents suite at the Poly. That shouldn't be that much, right? Still plenty left over to share the spa and pedicures, wait....whose buying the AP's?? I may need help with that one cause I am saving money to buy us all fabulous, one of a kind Disney souveniers.

I'll take care of your AP, since you're on souvenir duty. Why not...money's no object!
