Do you plan fake trips like I do?

 This is how much of a dork I am - I plan trips that I know I can't take. Oh, I don't call WDW and put down deposits or anything, but I check to see what the airfare would be, then if the rooms I want are available and how cheap I could get them, I plan out ADRs and see what's going on when I'm there.

Is this, like, the worst you've ever heard????

I love planning fake trips to Disney...been doing it for close to 20 years now...back in the day I didn't have prices...just lists of the when, the who, the where to stay and the what to dos...then came the internet on online booking....now since I live relatively close by and usually have an annual pass my fake trips are now over the top extravaganzas as if I won the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots and Fantasy Five for pocket money...I am ashamed to say that one trip I put together ..came in over 30k for a family of 5 for 2 weeks...that dining plan adds up you know. I had not even gotten to the cruise portion of the trip yet....

Anyone up for going to a spa. I could use a massage and pedicure before dinner.:)
I love fake trips!!! I'll treat everyone to a spa day and pedicures! Now, I have always wanted to go on a tour, maybe a segway tour? and...always wanted to go on the boat for Illuminations....anyone?

I skipped the second page of this thread but wanted to answer the question in the first post.

Yes, this is the worst thing I ever heard. How outlandish! How unrealistic! How sad!

Enough of that. I walk 4.5 miles a day around my neighborhood to keep my doctor happy with my state of health. I have been known to "pick people up at the Orlando airport, drive them to the Wilderness Lodge and show them around the hotel before retiring to the bar to plan the first day's activities" while I walk. It's a great way to occupy the mind while walking around the neighborhood.

I've also been known to rank the top 10 attractions in each park. Also plan the ideal Disney Day by hitting all 4 parks and getting just the top 2 or 3 attractions. I've been known to even rank restaurants.

And as we have seen by the fact that we're already on page 3 of this thread, we are not alone! :)

Segway tour is great, that will be my treat! And don't worry, the number of participants isn't limited in my world. We will have all of World Showcase to ourselves all day! Lunch in France, dinner in Canada:slurp: unless something else sounds better.

I really wanted to make this trip, but...The Grand Floridian!?!?

I don't have that kind of fake money! You guys think it grows on trees or something.

Well I planned my last fake trip with the Polynesian and I don't plan it to stay a fake trip. However the Grand Floridian is a little too much for me too. I only plan realistic fake trips.

Hi. My forum-name's Mickey&me, and I'm a WDW fake-trip planner.

My fake trips are always what-I-wish-I-had-the-money-to-do trips, so the Grand Floridian it is! I'll spring for the Richard Petty Driving Experience for all interested parties. I'll personally just do the ride-along myself.
