Do we have a name for us?

I like so many that have been mentioned! Especially Disnuts, Disneyphiles, and Mouseketeers, and WDWMagicians.

Here's mine: Disney + Fanatic = Disnatics. :veryconfu

Someone should start a poll...

I'm liking WEDheads...doesn't matter if people don't get it and it's too inclusive, that makes it all the better imo...

how about:
Waltzers
Mini mice
DOMs (An EPCOT inspired acronym - Devotees Of the Mouse)

We always use Disneytologists . . . LOL

This sounds good. We can go to the airports with mouse ears on
and give out park maps and literature and say disney loves you
:drevil:

I like it! Disney is a religion (or is it a cult?).

Then, make The Pilgrimage to WDW.

There is a group out at DL that calls themselves the COWs for "Church of Walt". They meet every Sunday at the hub.

This is a great thread! All the suggestions are very creative to one level or another. The problem is, though, that most of them refer to fans of Disney in general, or WDW in general (with the exception of a few park-specific ones). The only ones that really identify uniquely people who hang out here are the ones with "magic" in the name.

I have heard people refer to us in conversation as "people (or folks, or whatever) on Magic" or "members of Magic" or "Magic members", although I've never seen that on the boards - just in live conversation. That last one has too much of a double entendre for me.

So I like Magicians, etc. For me, Magicians has too much of a chance to be misunderstood as being associated with people who practice magic professionally or as a hobby.

How about Magicites (or WDWMagicites) or Magicinians, or even Magicarians?

I'm reminded of that episode of the TV show Taxi, where Jim had all the TVs set up in his living room and was watching nine different channels at once. One of the channels had on a debate in the Deleware state senate about what to call people who live in Deleware. I can't remember the quote exactly. Something like "and on this channel the Deleware state senate is debating whether to call themselves Delewarians or Delewarites. The Deleweenians never had a chance."

Agreed, plus it is limiting in scope to only those who are fans of the theme parks. Same with all of the names incorporating some aspect of EPCOT.

You didn't see the Grateful Dead fans naming themselves after only "Tr__________'" or "Terrapin Station".

My vote goes to Dis-Nuts.

I agree that would be unknown to non-Disney folks but I kind of like that and I would have to disagree that it is limited to the theme parks. It was Walts initials before it was anything else so that covers the movies, the parks, the TV shows...anything Walt touched.

I suspect a poll will occur soon....anyone.... :lookaroun

But if we do that won't if be confusing with the dis-boards. that should be their name.

Magic Movers,,, we spread the world of the magic all the time....
Plus since this is wdwmagic?????

I still say obcessed heads cos that is what we are when we cannot stay away from these forums or talking Disney all the time.

How about:

People who go to Disney World a lot, that love WDW so much that they join a crazy online fansite, that spend way to much time thinking, talking, dreaming, about WDW
