July 4th weekend? Good luck getting into MK when you arrive. By that time of the day it will most likely be closed due to capacity.

This reminds me of that nutter that was going to allegedly live in WDW for a year and document his daily, up-to-the minute activity. I forget his name...
I say, save yourself the time and effort and just go to Disneyland. You already have an AP for that resort, your parents are there, and Pirates is 100000000 times better.

I think it's awesome! You only live once and if you have the money to be able to do it, you should! I don't think you're crazy at all! Sounds like fun to me! Have a great time and make sure like others have said, take lots of pics of each park that day!

ok my date to arrive at the world is this Saturday the 27th. On Tuesday I do MK in the AM until about noon. Grab as many pics as I can in front of the castle, Pirates, H.M., Splash Mtn. and with C.M.
Get on a plane at 3:15pm to LA then Disneyland for the last 4 hours it's open At the Land I will do the same pics.
I've got the camera and video camera ready. I even had t-shirts made up for the day.
Anybody on here going to be there over that time?

I have done it! I have an AP at Disneyland and I frequent the park. When I get back from WDW, I go to DL to help ease my sadness of leaving WDW. I don't think it is weird.
In 2009 I will have visited DL Paris, WDW and Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. I love Disney parks! :sohappy:

another way to try to tire yourself out with disney fun - try to do all 4 parks in one day. me and my cousin did this and did just about everything :wave:

Thank you for the well wishes. I thought about twittering it but photo's and vids will work once I return. Much more exciting to see photo's time stamped rather than a tweet in my opinion. It's going to be one long day but very exciting too. I'll be going off adenaline for the most part

OK, tonight I secured a friend of mine to go with me. I will now be able to have someone document the trip with video.
Again...I don't want to come off as someone who has crazy amounts of money and is willing to spend it frivolously. I am just living out a dream that comes from only being able to put aside enough money to visit WDW and then pay for a short/cheap flight from Burbank to PHX.
On a side note...I have thought about getting the t-shirts made. I have a friend in LA who owns a print shop. What should I have it say on the shirt?
Also - Any one on here plan on being at either WDW or Disneyland on the July 4th weekend? or on July 7th when I plan to be at both parks? I would love to meet up with people who enjoy the Disney experience as much as I do.
I tell my friends (who think I am a nut job)....in these times of negative reporting...ie: TV, Internet, Paper....this is why I love the Disney experience so much. Everything in the Disney parks takes my mind off of reality...and these news outlets are always so focused on the negative!
I call it my brain break. Oh well. At least most if not all of you understand that point
