"Days after Disney CEO Bob Chapek praised Hulu’s live TV offering during the company’s quarterly earnings call, the company notified customers of a significant price increase.

As of December 18, the package including more than five dozen networks will cost $64.99 a month for both current and new subscribers, up 18% from the previous rate of $54.99.

The hike was relayed to subscribers by the company, which did not offer any additional comment on the move. The move brings Hulu’s live bundle, in line with rival services like YouTube TV, which also goes for $64.99.

Disney reported that Hulu had 4.1 million live subscribers as of September 30, to go along with 32.5 million customers paying for Hulu’s on-demand service. Unlike YouTube or other internet-delivered bundles, Hulu’s pricing includes access to all of its on-demand programming."

Yup, I got the email today. I still like the Live TV service overall.

I haven't been paying much attention to what's coming and whatnot until recently. I have read some sites talking about Spider-man movies, including non MCU ones like Venom, would be coming to Disney+. Any truth to that or is it all hearsay?

A video advert for D+ in another country had a quick shot of a Sony/Marvel Spider-Man movie which led to speculation that it would come to D+ not only for that country but for all D+ markets.

And that's all we know... what could have been an editor's mistake and a lot of speculation.

That was for an advertisement for another country as mentioned (it was in the Latin America launch for Disney+). Streaming rights different in different countries, so it's quite possible/likely that it does not apply to the US even if MCU Spider-Man movies will be featured in other locations.

Just realized that Daredevil rights will revert to Marvel next week. If that mature/fox section for Disney+ is announced on the 10th that could technically open the door for a revival there or Hulu but I would think Disney+ would make more sense since thats where all the Marvel content is.

But wait, so many swore that D+ would NEVER get an "adult" mature content section. 😂 😂 😂

So many are going to be gasping when that announcement is made.....

To think I predicted this almost a year ago.

One could definitely do a family friendly Daredevil series.

As far as November offerings go, IMO...

The Olaf short is very good. Worth it for anyone who liked anything about Frozen
The Animal Kingdom behind-the-scenes were also very good.
The Inside Pixar was okay... the four shows were pretty short, and then one realizes they could have been edited to be shorter. It was mostly highlighting the work of 4 Pixar employees. It was fine. The behind the scenes for Frozen 2 was a much better documentary for film-making (and Disney Animation now uses the same production processes as Pixar).
The Right Stuff: Kinda slow. I'm fast forwarding a bit. I have no idea how accurate any of the dramatizations are and am skeptical of most of it. Also, now that Hidden Figures, an excellent 20th Century film is now on D+, I'm disappointed there's no mention of the 'computers.'
Marvel's 616 starts tomorrow (11/20)
LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special: I'll be seeing that tomorrow along with the new Mickey Shorts.
Mando: Super!

On Hulu, Animaniacs full season drops tomorrow (11/20)

Here in the uk the lack of archive content on Disney plus is interesting. Not sure if tis a rights issue but I would have thought it would have been easy to provide a lot of this at little cost.

I would have loved to watch the old Walt era Disneyland and world of color episodes, especially the tomorrowland and park based ones but nine of that content is available. The true life adventures and people and places are missing as are most of the classic and even more modern shorts. As a goofy fan it would be great to be able to watch the ’mr average’ sorts or how to hook up your home theatre. Even things like Tail Spin are missing. Loads of classic era movies are missing as well like The Happiest Millionare, Doctor Syn, Rob Roy etc I know a lot of these are a bit niche but Im sure there are people other than me that would like to see some of these

That full archive isn't available in the US, either.
