Disney's Streaming Services: Disney+ (and Hulu, ESPN+, Star, & hotstar)

Comcast has been pulling Universal content off of other streaming services in the US including Hulu and putting it on Peacock for awhile now. I'd image (without looking it up) that Universal content is a very small percentage of the content library on Hulu at this point. So this has nothing to do with whether Disney will buy out the rest of Hulu from Comcast in 2024 or not. The vast majority of the content that Disney really wants on D+ from Hulu in the US (that isn't already there) is all the 20th Century content.
Also its not just as simple as "put all Hulu content on D+" in the US, if it was don't you think Disney would have just done that already. As Hulu is still partially owned by Comcast, Disney has a financial obligation to continue its operation until it can buy Comcast out. That means it has to keep the service viable meaning keeping it full of content. So no it can't just fold all Hulu content into D+ prior to Disney buying out the rest of Hulu from Comcast. Comcast could literally take Disney to court (and win) if Disney were to pull all content from Hulu prior to Disney buying Comcast out.
So long story short, Disney can't do anything with Hulu content like folding it into D+ until it can buy out Comcast.

Zorro is indeed the black and white original, all 78 half-hour episodes (39 each season). The show was colorized in the early 90s to extend its syndication life and those were released to DVD through the Disney Movie Club, but thankfully that's not what's on Disney+. Considering how long its been since Zorro got its very limited Walt Disney Treasures DVD release in 2009, to have the show more easily accessible is a huge win for fans of "Vault Disney" type content.
What is missing, and what was included on that DVD release, were the 4 hour long episodes of Walt Disney Presents that made up the show's unofficial third season. Maybe they too will get uploaded one day.
