This was confusing, so, I looked stuff up! If my research is correct. Season 2 of Short Circuit premiered Aug 4 of 2021, and this is the addition of one more short called "Reflect" which is appended to "Season 2."

Under the terms of a deal reached by the companies when Disney acquired most of 21st Century Fox, Disney can buy out Comcast at the start of 2024. Chapek said he “would love to” execute the buyout sooner, but he indicated Comcast is not in a hurry. Recent estimates have estimated the value of the stake at $27.5 billion and that number is not likely to decline during an era when streaming assets continue to be prized."
“The thing that you worry about when you’re Disney is brand friction, with some of the content that we may have in general entertainment,” Chapek said. “I am amazed every day in this job how elastic the Disney brand is. I would tell you that we have had no blowback whatsoever in terms of including that general entertainment content on a Disney-branded streaming proposition” in territories outside of the U.S. “I’m not saying it would be received exactly like that in the U.S., but it gives us some reason to believe that we have more degrees of freedom than anybody would have ever suspected.”

Asked about what kind of price increases may be possible down the line — even though the company is getting set to implement its second major hike later this year — Chapek said he wasn’t expecting a spike in churn. Disney CEO Bob Chapek said he sees a clear path for Hulu to merge with Disney+ once the company buys out Comcast's financial stake by 2024.
Expect a Hulu name change to align with the rest of D+/Star so there is one UI and Live TV component (possibly with ESPN+ being available under D+ in the US) to be added as well. The Bundle I suspect to be changed into Tiers, with the Ad tier as the basic and the Live TV tier including ESPN+ as the highest.
Right now, ESPN+ is a 'hub' in Hulu. And those who have Hulu+Live are automatically signed up for ESPN+ and D+.
I think there's a good chance that when Hulu merges into D+, that all three will be an inseparable package. After all, except in Latin America, Star is automatically a part of D+ for the rest of the world.
It'll be like the old cable TV days where you pay for and get channels you don't want and wish you could get a discount for getting rid of them.

First we have stop thinking of Hulu as it is today when it comes to this merger of services. Just because there is something in Hulu today doesn't mean it'll be the same in the merged D+.
Also in your scenario it sounds like they just drop the different levels of the Bundle and move everyone to a everything plan, which wouldn't make sense from a pricing standpoint. If we all agree that people like the Bundle then we have to think of this in those terms.
And not to mention we know at the core of this decision is cost savings by having a uniform UI experience across the entire service and shuttering the Hulu service, which is clearly what Disney is going for here. So unless they plan on expanding ESPN+ outside of the US (which isn't in the cards, at least any time soon maybe never) I wouldn't bet on them having it be inseparable, I suspect it'll be tier based.
In my mind the US tiers will be something like this. with each tier adding an additional tile for the added content:
"Disney Only" Tier is Ad driven D+,
"Movie Lover" Tier is D+ and Hulu/Star with Ads.
"Movies and Sports Enthusiast" Tier is D+ and Hulu/Star and ESPN+ with no Ads.
and finally the top tier:
"The Cord Cutter" Tier is D+ and Hulu/Star and ESPN+ with no Ads and Live TV.
Options are good.
But Disney is known for sometimes not allowing options. Outside the Americas, if you have Disney+, then you have Star. If you have Hulu+Live TV, then you have the bundle.
We'll see. I'm sure Disney will follow the data analytics in deciding if it's worth it (i.e. profitable) to have all the options on the table.

Yep we'll see what they do.
Personally I just don't see them forcing everyone to what will be a higher cost option in your scenario. Especially not when they are introducing the Ad tier option in December as a lower cost option. That is why I'm thinking it'll be tiered based on what entry point someone wants to consume the content.
Just to go along with your example of non-US D+, they could do what I suggested before but just drop the Disney only tier and only have 3 tiers:
"Movie Lover" Tier is D+ and Hulu/Star with Ads.
"Movies and Sports Enthusiast" Tier is D+ and Hulu/Star and ESPN+ with no Ads.
"The Cord Cutter" Tier is D+ and Hulu/Star and ESPN+ with no Ads and Live TV.
And thinking about it more, this is more likely what they would do in my opinion. Its similar to the non-US regions, but US specific with ESPN and Hulu Live.

Reading between the lines...
"Peacock is not turning out how we thought in terms of subscriber adoption, so if Disney wants to sell us Hulu we'll gladly take it off their hands so we can remain competitive in the streaming wars. However we know that Disney isn't going to do that, so this isn't anything more than just us silently admitting defeat."

Or posturing in hopes of elevating the value of Hulu while Chapek tries to talk it down for a cheaper payout in 2024.
Admittedly, it's an interesting idea. Does Disney actually need Hulu at this point or is it an albatross? Simply add a Star hub and dump all the general entertainment currently housed on Hulu there, leaving the tech infrastructure but not the content to Comcast. In that sense, it's actually a good notion to let Comcast buy it out.

At this point Hulu and Star are the same with just different names.

I didn't hate either Apocalypse or Dark Phoenix (or Inhumans for that matter) as most people seemed to - and I've watched far too many D-grade horror films of people trapped in hospitals/asylums, so apparently my standards... I mean expectations... are already set pretty low.
