Daniel Brühl to star as Karl Lagerfeld in Kaiser Karl.

"Daniel Brühl (“All Quiet on the Western Front,” “Captain America: Civil War”) is set to star as late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld in “Kaiser Karl,” the anticipated Disney+ original series which Gaumont (“Lupin”) is currently producing. The show is currently shooting in France, Monaco and Italy.

The six-part series will chronicle the rise of Karl Lagerfeld through the world of 1970s Parisian high fashion. In 1972, a 38-year-old Karl Lagerfeld aspired to become the most famous French fashion designer, at a time when Yves Saint Laurent reigned supreme. Lagerfeld went on to become the head designer and creative director of Chanel, Fendi and his own label.

The series will also explore the rivalry between Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent’s partner Pierre Berge, as well as his love story with Jacques de Bascher."

That would definitely seem to be more of a Hulu show than D+.

Wonder if that's telling us something?

So same basic answer as before, nothing new.

Basically, "We're evaluating and will know soon what we're going to do."

What is interesting as he mentioned FX specifically as a huge contributor, which ironically feeds into Hulu. I'll let you make of that what you will.

And? This is all just more speculation/opinion about who these analysts think could buy Hulu if Disney sells. Its NOT saying that Disney is actually selling Hulu.

Basically its all the same regurgitated information as has been out there since Iger came back. Until Disney officially makes a decision on Hulu there is nothing new going to come out about this.
