Um, obviously it still does otherwise they wouldn't be having a Live Stream of the events on Hulu.
Also that is not exactly what Iger said. He said everything was on the table concerning Hulu in 2024, which is what a good CEO should say. Note that Iger has already rejected Comcast's first attempt to buy Hulu when Disney first got controlling interest in Hulu due to the 21st Century acquisition. This is when they made the agreement for Disney buying the remaining 33% of Hulu in 2024. And while things are different now with regards to Disney in terms of trying to bring down debt, I don't expect anything to change. My opinion is Hulu will remain at Disney, the only question is will Comcast still continue to own its 33% or will it be sold to Disney in 2024. Bottom line I don't see any reason Disney gets rid of Hulu, just like ABC and ESPN (and we already know Iger said neither would be spun-off or sold), it wouldn't make financial sense at this point. So outside of fulling buying Hulu from Comcast I could see them renegotiate the terms and push off that transaction to something like 2026.

No, Iger is not Zaslav. Just because something gets cancelled at Disney doesn't mean its going to be "removed" for "tax purposes", that is not how that works.
While I liked Game Changers, never watched Big Shot, shows get cancelled all the time. Both shows were low ratings and never broke into the top 10 for streaming shows. So its not surprising they got cancelled.

Meaning sold off as in no longer owned by Disney.
If Iger was really considering a sale in the short term he’d likely ask all investment into the service to stop.
As for “shutting down”, we’ve been over this already. As a stand alone service no matter whether Disney keeps it or sells it off it won’t likely remain a standalone service long term. But my opinion on the subject still remains the same, it’ll be merged into D+ as another tile, that isn’t “shutting down” but rather part of a singular service. If you want to call that “being shutdown” that is on you.

It surely seems possible that Hulu gets merged into Disney+ in the US, but there's still the pesky aspect of "Live TV" (which I feel like I read is what drives the profitability for Hulu, though I could be misremembering). I wouldn't be surprised if we see stuff migrated from Hulu into D+ under a new (for the US) Star brand as general interest programming, but the Hulu brand/name continues to be used separately for the Live TV service. Assuming that Disney keeps everything.

Look I’m trying to figure out what you mean by Disney pulling the plug on Hulu. Also, the article that you posted is for the acquisition of a foreign show (from the U.K.) by Hulu, that will come very soon (April 11). The fate of the streamer won’t be determined until we get closer to early next year.

D+ has already shown it can air Live Tv broadcasts with events like Elton John concert and such. So it’s not a hard stretch to think they can find a way, such as a new tier, to have the Hulu Live Tv feature exist on D+. Plus if it’s done that way it potentially gives more subs access to LiveTv tier who wouldn’t otherwise pay for the bundle.

I already explained what I meant.
Also I didn’t post the article, I just made a comment about it.
And Iger can make a decision on Hulu at any time, it doesn’t have to wait until next year. The 2024 deadline is for when Disney must do something, doesn’t mean it can’t be done before that.
