If I was a general Star Wars fan, I don't think anything that happened in this past week's episode would've been enough of a grabber for me to start watching. I'm a big Star Wars fan and while I get Ashoka Tano, I've never watched Clone Wars or Rebels, so have no idea about the overall story for her.

I think this is largely for the new episode, personally.
Those numbers are only up to the date when Episode 1 of Season 2 was released. It does not include any of the recent episodes including last weeks.

"A new listing from the Film & Television Industry Alliance, via Reddit, reveals that the untitled Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+ is scheduled to begin production on January 4, 2021. Filming is set to take place in Boston, Massachusetts as well as London, United Kingdom."

I smell bull. McGregor himself noted that production was likely to start in March.

I watched the Happiness Season and found it was an excellent movie. I would recommend it for everyone.

I apologize for dragging on the Hawkeye subject, but here is a thread with a whole bunch of close ups of the actors on set

I created a thread just for the Hawkeye D+ show:

You can post all this stuff there. :)

This is shocking, to me at least, and the question comes up is if Disney may consider such a crazy move?
We'll know in 7 days...

Not Disney, but ...

I wonder if this says more about the prospects for theatrical releases in 2021 or about the state of HBO Max. Would certainly seem to bolster the value of an HBO Max subscription, but would seem to undercut a huge amount of the box office potential for films (many that are surely not cheap to make).

I assume they'll be VOD, not free.
