maybe drones are going to replace the railings at the castle.
Matterhorn, the Wishing Well, Splash Mountain, Pooh, and other attractions are all down... Let the refurbing begin. Pan is next in early February.

I remember when they used to put Christmas trees in the moat for the holidays. Those trees and the garlands on Main Street were about the only Christmas decorations you'd find in December. That's another reason why Small World Holiday was such a crazy hit when it opened in November, 1997; because the park just hadn't done much for Christmas until then.

Pan's the one I'm really looking forward to. Alice's upgrades look good (on film, anyway, haven't seen them yet in person), so I'm hoping for great things. As long as we get new AA's and NOT screens, as in Soarin' Over London...
I'd be down for new animatronics and screens (limited on the screens).

There is an after hours media event at Disneyland. I’m sure the blog will add announcement posts as soon as the media is notified. It is probably a good idea to watch social media on the evening of the 28th.
Disneyland closes early on January 28th. They close at 6PM while keeping DCA open later to accommodate guests.
I'd actually like that.

It most likely won't be. They rarely, if never live stream these types of things, but that could change.

The Parks blog had meet-up event for the 60th unveiling. I say had because it sold out in like 2 minutes. However it says that you will be able to follow along with the 60th event on the parks blog, so hopefully that means a live stream.
