Hopefully anything going to Disneyland is going right into the maintenance and service training budgets.

If anyone watched the destination d23 presentation, after Hkdl frozen was shown somebody on stage joked ‘can we have one like that’ and josh said something like I’ll see if we could pull the strings. So who knows.In the statement posted today referencing Disneyland. The SEC filing is linked there also with more info claiming they have 1000s of acres worldwide to build on.

Wakanda has yet to be brought to life. The world of Coco is just waiting to be explored. There’s a lot of storytelling opportunity.”
Will will frozen be the first land built with expansion. Or was he just throwing out popular franchises nanes.

But if we do I hope we get the cancelled TDS port. On the d23 stream, in the b roll footage of wdi hq you could see the model is still displayed there. guests touring around always assume it’s just hkdl’s but if you look closely it’s the cancelled port, just sitting there for few to see.

Well aren't you a buzzkill, jkIts always fun to just talk about the "what ifs" even if it may never happen.
So with that, the Peoplemover and Sky(way)liner in this case aren't talked about being used in regards to moving people to/from a parking lot like the Eastern Gateway Pumbaa parking structure. Rather its talked about potentially being used to transport guests from the east side of the property to the new proposed west side expansion.
And funny enough it does appear in other places in the EIR about Monorail expansion for use to potentially transport guests to/from the proposed shopping district expansion for Toy Story lot.

Funny, and yeah it’s very possible none of this happens. But what else we gonna talk about?
So instead of trying to rain on the parade of those that want to discuss the “what ifs” why not join in on the discussion.

I am joining in on the discussion by expressing my disbelief that a dedicated transportation option will be added beyond a bridge (or if need be, buses). Which in no way impedes your ability to discuss it just because I have a different opinion.

Also I'll just add that Anaheim wants to get as much Disney bus traffic off of Harbor and the rest of the resort area as possible. So "new" buses aren't a likely transportation option especially if this is really meant to be an expansion of the existing parks footprint rather than a 3rd gate.I am joining in on the discussion by expressing my disbelief that a dedicated transportation option will be added beyond a bridge (or if need be, buses). Ok, that is what I figured and where the disconnect is coming from. The Harbor bridge is not being discussed here, as that is part of the Eastern Gateway and Pumbaa Parking Structure portion and other than some design changes is pretty much set.Yeah.

Also we're not talking about transportation from the new parking structure to the new lands/expansion area. What is being talked about would be a transportation system or bridge from within the existing park footprint over Disneyland Dr to the new expansion areas.

That’s a good thing right? The HKDL version looks pretty great to me and would probably fit with Disneylands scale better. I’m not sure what the cancelled TDS one looks like.

And I'm discussing infrastructure investment. And I don't see transportation infrastructure (ala a Skyliner, a PeopleMover or a monorail extension) being added in or around the Resort. I *can* see them building a parking bridge.

So you don't think there will be any connection from the existing Parks to the new expansion area at all? As the only "parking bridge" in this discussion is the one over Harbor.
I think at the very least there will be a foot bridge between the existing Parks, say at Critter Country and Pixar Pier, over to the new expansion areas. I could even see maybe them lowering all of Disneyland Dr and putting a tunnel and have all the area over the roadway for expansion area. But my hope is they include a transportation system like the peoplemover in this expansion mostly just so we get the peoplemover back.
But I guess we'll see if this moves forward...

I think people will walk as they do between the current two parks and Downtown Disney from wherever they park. It's not any further out. Its within the existing footprint of the Resort that I walk all the time.
They will have to have buses from the Toy Story lot expansion back to the main Resort area as they currently do, but again, i don't expect anything built between the areas.
Now IF they take over GardenWalk (which they should have done a long time ago), my opinion may change. If they have that thoroughfare, it might be worth expanding the monorail's footprint all around the area. (Which i wish would happen but think it's going to take more than the current plans to push that big of a build-out of transportation.)
But otherwise, no, I do not expect a Hogwarts train from one area to the other.
