Regarding the name, I echo others in being happy it's just not another [IP]: [Generic or bland suffix] formula. With this and Tiana's, I hope they're moving away from it.

I know, I know, don't hold my breath.

I wish these people were in charge of the MK. 😍

Even the name is good. It drops the outdated, somewhat cringy IP while still recognising it. It's just 'the Treehouse' anyway, in everyday speech.

Just some of those props look like they lean toward the whimsical a bit too much.

that would certainly align with the "kaleidoscope" name.

I'd also be interested in seeing how they end up decorating the scenes. Prop purchasing for items from the 1800s is increasingly difficult, so it wouldn't surprise me at all, if this is filled with items coming from a far more recent date, or newer items that just look "oldish." Makes it hard to set to a specific time period (which swiss family would be).
The concept art room does look like a 1972 hippie lair...

The SFR Treehouse's interior had a superb storytelling element to it: it's all rescued and reused ship material, combined with cleverly used local materials. You can puzzle together the SFR story just from walking their home. The Treehouse is not merely a cool house built around a tree.

this all lines up with what I’ve been saying for years now. How are we feeling about this? And what questions do you all have for me?
Um, none of what Disney released about this project has anything to do with what you were claiming for years.

You have to face facts, there is no Tarzan theme coming as part of this project. Just about the only thing you got vaguely right was there was a refurb that was going to happen sometime in the future, and we all pretty much acknowledged that was inevitable to happen. Heck it didn't even happen on your timeline like your claims, ie the trashcans being the indicator of the immediate refurb.

Also you should not paint yourself as some insider here to answer quesions. You admitted back years ago that you got this information from a Twitter poster, named "Dan" as I recall, whom you called as your "social media friend".

So just chill out and enjoy the refurb news. :)

Lol this is a long response directed at someone who is obviously trolling.

I don't think they are trolling, that term gets thrown around way too much. For various reason I won't go into here, I think they honestly believe that everything Disney announced confirms things they've been saying. Even though we all know that isn't true.

Oh wow. I thought it was kind of obvious but I haven’t really been following what they’ve been saying.
