True, but many of the more notable and oft cited examples are now actually many years behind us. More telling is the willingness to call others liars while not doing the same with active posters here.

The derailment of this topic over something as trivial as MiceAge's credibility is so baffling that it's hard to believe it's actually happening. I enjoy this community quite a bit, and I find the vast majority of posters here quite friendly and nice. Unfortunately there are a few nasty bullies who predictably harass and launch personal attacks when they are pressed and bothered by viewpoints that don't align with their own. Their behavior gives me the impression that they might be slightly unbalanced, so when it starts getting weird I just stop engaging them.
Notice Duffy's body language Phruby? I think he's trying to pull away from me.

You ever heard of 'a broken clock is right twice a day'? You get no credit for things that look alike but are actually completely different origins and reasons.
There is a difference between failing to qualify the state of something vs passing along unfounded rumors or just making stuff up.
But the fact we need to say this already makes my heart hurt and I gave up trying to say the stupid from themselves along time ago.

How about sticking to the point and show where I said they made up their story? Thing is you can't do that because I never said it, so you jump to personal attacks. Predictable.

The guess on Screamscape seems pretty likely as far as what it will be about. The Collector's collection is apparently so large tha he may have other facilities on different planets, so I guess there could be one here. Ijust hope if the tower eventually turns into one of his museums that it at least matches with the areas look. Looking on the bright side, a big art deco tower could actually be pretty nice looking if they decide to go that route.

For the upteenth time I, along with a few others, said their reporting on SW Land/Tomorrowland and the Subs closure was wrong, not that they purposely set out to misinform the public. Whether it was because they were given misinformation or conjecture based on ideas swirling around the company, or something else, I have no idea, but the facts are that the Subs really did go down for a rehab, reopened as scheduled, and SW Land is not in Tomorrowland. The information they insisted was happening turned out to be flat out wrong.
With that said (again!) I stand by my point that too often MiceAge vigorously publishes rumors that aren't likely to happen, therefore it isn't a completely reliable source for information on future developments at the DLR for me. With their track record I'm certainly not going to get worked up over whatever their current story is about Marvel placemaking in Hollywoodland.

I never said Miceage makes things up and posts them as facts. That would be creepy.
Nor have I seen anyone post that on here.
But when they do post something that ends up not happening, for whatever reason, they should own up to it and admit that it was wrong. Seems like a lot of times they pretend it never happened in the first place.

And why is it that the only people who resort to insults around here are the long time posters, yet Hans and I always get blamed for causing trouble? Why was my name even brought up? I barely was involved in the conversation, and I certainly said nothing that could be considered insulting.
Maybe before he and I came along, there wasn't anyone to challenge anyone's viewpoint around here. Now that everyone doesn't always agree with everything that's said, people lose their minds.
