By “nothing new” does that mean not even confirmation of Lion King?
Lion King is being kept back for D23. If we receive anything next week, it'll be concept art for the new Theater District, Studio 1 and/or Tangled Spinner. We may get a Space Mountain announcement, but that is purely a maybe at the moment based on the event poster featuring Space Mountain

Thanks! The link now goes to his fuller post, which is good.

But talking of that, do you or @MisterPenguin know if he’s saying he’s heard it will be 2 E-ticket rides and the ones in the running are Soaring, Indy (I assume he means the AK Indy ride) or RotR? Or is he just giving examples of what it could be? I can’t decide how to read it.
You can track him down and ask him. He's bubbling with deets at the moment. :D

I always thought adding an Indy EMV was a no brainer for DLP, it would be fitting for Tony Baxter's park to get one of his most iconic rides ;)

I agree. I expect new concept art that will reflect the end state of what the park will look like the day Frozen opens. We haven't had an updated overall concept art since the announcement in 2018(?)

If we get anything new it will be Space Mountain. I'm forming a prayer circle if anyone wants to join.

Count me in that prayer circle. I feel like with the upcoming eclipse, the Moon is trying to tells us something.

UP! would be the theme of the second flat ride of this land called Adventure Way. Some insiders suggest it would be akin to the Silly Symphony Swings ride from DCA.
I don't know if this is true, but I always thought that kind of ride would fit there quite well. UP is quite a popular franchise, so it could work, but I would prefer that UP would be in World of Pixar. A clone of Silly Symphony Swings would be better for the center of the park.

For UP, I think a balloon ride like the Inside Out one maybe would fit better.

I'm aware of Ally's Air clue on Instagram, but trusted insiders haven't identified a theme or ride system. Up has been speculated, but that's it so far

What happened to The Little Mermaid theme? The art nouveau lake promenade has a loose princess theme?

Former Imagineer Jim Shull has shared some art from the previously rumoured ride. The rooftop colour & style seems to match the one from Tangled Tea Cups ride. Regarding the giant Ursula, I am not sure if it would be a great fit with the rest of the area.

Wouldn't UP make more sense in the Pixar area? Considering the massive success of Inside Out 2, this could be another contender to replace the Aladdin theme for flying spinner attraction - if they actually plan to replace it at some point.
